I remember it vividly like it was yesterday. On the last day of 2023, I already knew what I wanted to do in 2024. I had my goals set , both in my personal life and on the hive blockchain and I had accountability partners in check. I even wrote a post about my hive goals for the year and you can read more about it here.
The past few days, I’ve been looking through my goals for the year 2024 and I low-key don’t even want to look at them because I knew them off head and I know that I achieved almost everything on my list. One thinrg about me is, I love to plan everything to the tiniest detail. For as long as I can remember, this has just been me. Since I started to prioritise so much in my life, I set goals for myself and I work myself to meet everyone own of them.
Right from high school, everything I have said to myself has come to pass just as I had planned it. And I know that it’s not just my hardwork but also the grace of God. I have felt the hand of God in my life because anytime I pray or ask others to pray for me ,the first thing I pray for is guidance because I believe that without guidance, it would be difficult to get things right most of the time.
For how far I’ve come, I’m really proud of myself and as the new year comes, I look forward to setting new milestones and working towards them. But then again, I don’t really know what milestones to set. Maybe I’ve been too occupied the past few days I haven’t had time to think everything through. It’s like my thoughts are a mess. But I’d have to have a plan because I can’t live a whole year with no plans. So for now, these are the hive goals I look forward to achieving this year. This is more like an unofficial list.🤭
One of my main goals for the year 2024 was to obtain the 365/365 days badge from hivebuzz by writing a post everyday of the year. But in March, we had a network issue in my country which made me miss 4 days. Aside these four days, I also missed about 6 days when I travelled making that 10 days. As at yesterday, I was at 356/366. And I thought to myself, I was almost there. This year, I know I will get there and that’s my number one hive goal for the year.
Moving on, as usual, I plan to grow my Hp drastically this year. Last year was a marathon and through consistency and hardwork, I was able to make almost about twice the hp I started the year with which was a great achievement for me. For this year, I plan to hit at least 5000Hp by the end of the year.
With my following and reputation, I would say it’s at quite a good standing currently but I look forward to doing better. Obtaining more followers to ensure my content reaches more readers while also growing my reputation through consistency.
At the end of 2023, I set a goal to power up every month for the 12 months in the year and I successfully ticked that off my list. This year, I plan to go this way again. No matter how small it is, I believe powering up each month adds up something to my hive power and contributes to my general growth on the hive blockchain.
On this note, let’s have my Hive power up to start the year. I’m currently ending the year with 2790HP and starting the new year with a power up of 11HP which sums my Hive power to 2801HP.
