One Lifetime, One Experience: A Taste of Life

Life is undoubtedly beautiful. Waking up everyday and going about life is an opportunity for us all to do new things. Each day,we are lucky to get out of bed in good health but not everyone gets to see the light of day. This should tell us that we have to appreciate the life that we have no matter the circumstances.

One thing I have learnt over the past few years is, your current situation is one that someone out there is praying fervently for. Might be unbelievable but it’s true. Also, you might think your life is bad but someone somewhere probably hates you because they think you don’t deserve the life that you have , but they do instead. Weird right? Yeahh….

People are weird and life is unpredictable. But everyday comes with its own problems, joys, and opportunities for us to experience. When I look back at my life, I can tell you that there’s a lot that has happened in my life that I never imagined would. Both good and bad and this has taught me to appreciate every moment I have on this earth.

We all have those experiences we wish to have at least one in our life time because they would mean the world to us. Even if we deny it, we all have that one thing we wish to experience before leaving the face of this earth. Personally, I would say the one thing I believe everyone should experience in their life at least once is having a taste of Ghanaian jollof but I don’t wish for my Nigerian brother @fashtioluwa and sister @jhymi to come for my head so I’d suggest this one another time when they are out of sight. But, really, I think every deserve to experience victory or should I say success.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be big. Whether big or small, the experience and satisfaction that comes with it is what matters the most to me. For me, I celebrate everything in my own style be it big or small. But, not everyone is content with even their biggest of wins and that can be bad. We don’t always get to have what we want but even if we are one step closer to it, we need to accept the win and the progress and feel at least a bit of satisfaction for how far we have come. This, I believe would push us further because we will constantly be reminded of how it would feel if we land the big deal and we would always look forward to it.

Life doesn’t always have to be a competition or race. Sometimes we need to take a step back and celebrate and I think not most of us give ourselves the opportunity to experience this. But, this is something I wish for everyone out there. Lets not be too hard on ourselves because we are all we’ve got.
Cheers!🥂
