Every generation is always expectant of what would be endowed to them. Our forefathers must have left one or two things for us and we use that to remember them today. My father left a lasting legacy before leaving this earth and it's been working in favor of those of us he left behind. As for me, there are three tangible things I plan to leave behind for the next generation.
- CULTURE
Culture is like a legacy built over the years by our forefathers to groom and guide the upcoming generation. The knowledge of our culture helps us to understand ourselves. Many things about us are formed by our culture and our culture portrays who we are and that, we should be proud of.
These days, it requires a meticulous approach and ways to instill a love for culture for our next generation to remain attractive and interesting to them. Never let the past be forgotten or where you come from.
Culture of hard work, the culture of respect, and honor. Family value; putting your family first! These for me are tangible to leave for the next generation.
- THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT GOD IS EVERYTHING
Children see their Dad and Mum as the source of everything they get from them rather than God. That consciousness of God being the main source, a friend, a guide is what I want to transfer to them. They should have the consciousness that God is alive and He is with them and through Him, they will have the wisdom to make money and achieve other of their dreams. God is the highest authority someone should remember even while dealing with people; all these I will leave in their minds and with it, their future is guaranteed 👌
- WEALTH
Wealth is deeper than riches. Being rich means you have only money. When you say someone is wealthy, it means he has a name, resources, assets, etc. A wealthy man must have invested in people, he has men everywhere who just through a phone call, get things sorted out in the comfort of his home. He has lots of things generating him money while he sleeps.
Investment culture is what wealthy men practices. It's a process, it starts today and takes time to grow. The culture of increasing wealth and not lavishing. These are smart goals I am setting and working towards leaving a generational wealth for my next generation.
