This generation, the Gen Z, my generation is seen by the previous generation - The millennials, as more or less a generation that is not strong enough. Though smart, our decisions are made based on emotions and tend to pretty much lack logic.
The Gen Alpha's are well, nothing to talk about for now as they are just coming into the world and know not what the world is talking about. Some do, the ones who have seen things, while some don't. All the same, when give guidance, they will not end up like the Gen Z's.
I do not think that I am in a position t offer advice to the next generation. Especially when it comes to navigating life. I don't see myself as having enough experience to do that ya'know. But, from the little experience I have gathered so far, one thing that I will tell them is this:
Life is all about three things:
**What you have upstairs
Who has you upstairs
What you do to sharpen these. **
From what I have seen in life so far, this is what I can say.
What you have upstairs as in - what do you know? What skill do you have? How updated are you? How can you impact others? What experiences have you gathered? How do you plan to betterment yourself in all ramification?
Who has you upstairs as in - Who do you know? Who will lay their lives for you? Who will go through thick and thin just to see that you survive? Who will give their time and resources just to see that you secure that job wether or not you are qualified? Who will make provisions for you, even if the space is filled and the opportunity is gone? Who is that person that will taken on an entire army because you're hurt? Who is that person that will go an extra mile just to put a smile on your face?
What to do to sharpen these, as in - what efforts are you putting to become better? During this process, are you making food friends, companions and connections? Are you getting new valid skills? What are you doing to improve?what plans and goals do you have in stock? Are you utilizing what you know and who you have? Or are you just bagging all these without utilizing them? How do you plan to utilize these people and skills?
You see, I have come to realize that life is both a bed of roses and a bed of thorns. All dependent on the efforts you put in. You can decide to lie down on thorns for a short time, then sleep on roses in the long run, or you can decide to sleep on roses now, and be pierced by thorns for the rest of your life.
Life is cruel, the world is accursed, people are stingy, selfish and greedy. They only put their own person in high places, wether or not they are qualified for the position.
Why should I make you great when I have my friend or brother or siblings who is just like you and needs my help to achieve greatness? This is why you will see an engineer being a banker who works in the deposit session in Nigeria.
In as much as I hate it, your relationships are your golden ticket to achieve more better and high valued relationships, and also, your ticket to achieve the best things in life.
However, this is futile if you know nothing. A fool would not have God relationships. Life is not all about you. You just have something upstairs before people put you upstairs. I don't want to be friends with someone who has no impact to the society. I will want to be proud and boastful of my friends ya'know. This is the reason you need to have something upstairs.
Even in the aspect of relationships, romantic ones, you must have something upstairs. Value and money. To attract better women, you must betterment yourself. Be worth something. This is why no matter how ugly sugar daddies tend to be, your serious girlfriend will never stop chasing them. Some don't go to sugar daddies for money, but the value that is being passed down and the connection obtained.
As a lady, I wouldn't advise you to go to sugar daddies or run from one man to another. Remember, the more cucumbers you suck, the faster you loose your worth. Men will deceive you, brain wash you and still talk shit about you behind your back so their friends can come try their luck. From there, you'll be, will, a toy for pleasure sake.
Ladies are born as people higher and more valued than male. When they misbehave, they loose their value. This is why a man will enjoy his teen and marry a village girl that knows nothing about how wild the world is. Ladies should improve their self, and also, maintain their self.
Men on the other hand are born with many shackles. You must struggle in other to remove them. Gain worth, be valuable and be financially bouyant. Then and only then, you can go up the scale.
Each and everyone, both male and female should be able to make improvements. Do not be satisfied with the level you are in. Always go higher. Remember, things get outdated. Programmers never believed that AI will one day take their jobs away from them ya'know.
Upgrade. Be updated and always, I forgot this, always put your God first.
If they do this, the I think they have a better chance of being successful and worth something in life.
