Hello, everyone.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. The holiday we all looked forward to is slowly coming to an end; sad how it takes so much time to come by and leaves In a hurry. Some people have already returned back to their daily routines, while some are still preparing their body, mind, and soul to do so as well, though the holiday was not as long as we wanted or needed; it was worth it. All the fun and memories created in these few days will be something we would look back at and smile.
The Christmas celebration is over, and we have just one more celebration to go, and that would conclude the season as we all return back to our daily routine. Truth be told, not everyone really looks forward to returning to their daily routine, as it can be stressful and draining. For most of us, the festive season is like a gateway to get a little rest and a break from all of our hustles and bustles; we rest during this season as we prepare our hearts and minds to usher in the new year and return back to our daily routine almost immediately. The new year is like the conclusion of the season; immediately after the new year celebration, people have just a few days before they go back to work and school. The new year celebration brings the festive season to a close.
So far so good. The holiday has been a good one on my side; everything went as planned, and I was opportune to witness my tradition and culture just like I intended to from the day I decided I would be spending the holidays in my hometown. I was a part of a big traditional celebration that went down in my hometown from start to end, and it made the whole festive season memorable, as it only happens once in two years, and this is the first time I have actually witnessed the celebration. The rest, fun and getting to see family again after a long time, makes a lot of us wish the festive season could be longer before we all go our separate ways.
There are many reasons why we look forward to the festive season and the holiday that comes with it. Getting to see family and friends again after so many months apart is one of the reasons we look forward to the festive season. The festive season also offers us time off our daily routine that can be tiring and stressful. The festive season is one every individual looks forward to, but it is as if it is already coming to an end.

For me, the holiday ends immediately after the new year celebration; school resumes almost immediately, as we have assignments to submit on the 2nd of January. Truth be told, I really do not look forward to resuming my daily routine of moving around for lectures and running around to either get an assignment done or get it submitted; the only excitement about resuming school on the 2nd of January 2025 is the fact that I will get to see my friends, as the holiday has kept us all apart, as many traveled home, like myself, while a few stayed back in school for reasons best known to them.
