Hello, everyone.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. Whenever I see people or families with multiple cars, I tend to wonder how they cope, considering the cost of maintaining them as well as the current economy of the country. Friends have had an argument about this before when a friend said owning multiple cars is a waste of resources; another said it is how they have decided to spend their money, and it shouldn't be anyone's problem. It is the truth that people have their money and can decide to spend it as they want, but sometimes others have an opinion on how they should have spent it, and in most cases, this people's point is valid.
The one who said it is a waste of resources proved his point by saying there are videos on TikTok showing videos of cars that have been covered by dust and have not been driven in years; it might be their money, but deciding to spend it that way does not stop it from being a waste of resources. To the owners it might be a show or display of wealth, but looking from another angle, it really is a waste of resources because the money spent on acquiring those cars would have been channeled into something else that would have been more beneficial to them. The cars being parked in the garage or car park does not in any way benefit them, but if they had used it to do something else, it might have yielded returns for them. People own and acquire multiple cars for a reason, but it still does not stop it from having a negative effect on the environment.
Money used to acquire multiple cars can actually be used to do a lot of other things, things that would be more beneficial to both the owner of the money and humanity at large. One can use the money used to acquire more cars to actually start up a charity organization or, in a way, impact humanity and hear their praises sung all over. We cannot decide or dictate how people spend their funds, but we can only wish we were in that position so we could actually do things differently and impact humanity in a way as well as help nature.
One of the things that causes pollution is smoke, and one of the many sources of smoke is vehicles and cars. Owning multiple and having them all in use means there will actually be more smoke hitting the atmosphere and affecting nature as well as degrading it. One of the things that degrades the ozone layer is actually smoke, and the degrading of the ozone layer actually exposes us to more harsh radiation (scorching sun), and we are all a living testimony to how hot the sun burns, but if the rule of one car per family is implemented, maybe the ozone layer would recuperate and protect us better.
No one is saying accumulating or acquiring multiple cars is a bad idea, but for the love of nature and avoidance of wastage, a one-car-per-family rule is one that can and should actually be accepted, even though it will come with a lot of disadvantages, but it will, in a way, help nature and help it serve us better as well as help us avoid wastage of funds and resources.
