Sports have been around for a very long time, dating as far back as the ancient times, contact sports seems to be a very interesting type of sports.

Contact Sports are the sports that requires physical contact between players, this can be either intentionally or unintentionally. Note that the contact between the players are a very integral part of the sport.

For me I have only one favourite sports, which is also an example of a contact sport, which is football.

I so much love football that I can't skip any of the matches of my favourite team which is Arsenal.
Football is also known as soccer, it's a very strong contact game, with a lot involving physical contact, attacks , defending, dribbling and many others skills requires physical contact, as a result of this extreme contact injuries are inevitable.
In fact football players sustains some high degree of injuries that can take years or even life threatening.

I am an Arsenal fan, I have seen where some players careers get destroyed because of some deadly injuries.

Here are some Arsenal football players who suffered long-term injuries:

Mohamed Elneny: Mohammed Elneny experienced and suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury that kept him out for nine months.
Funny thing is that this injury was sustained during a training session.
This happened just after He scored the opening goal in Arsenal's 3-0 FA Cup win over Oxford.

Aaron Ramsey:Another Arsenal player I also remember for a long term injury is Aaron Ramsey, He suffered a very frightening double leg break under a challenge from Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross in 2010.
Despite this very painful experience of the injury, Aaron Ramsey later returned to win two FA Cups with Arsenal and reach the semi-final of Euro 2016 with his home country: Wales. This was a very miraculous recovery and comeback.

There are other players I can remember for their injuries stunted careers:
Abou Diaby: Persistent knee injuries
Jack Wilshire: Reoccurring Ankles and knee injuries.
Thomas Rosicky: Hamstring injury and knee injuries.
Santi Carzola: Achilles tendon injury, put him out for more than 10 years and consequently had injuries, he was personally one of my favourite Arsenal Attackers with a very powerful left leg and Right leg strike. Unfortunately he didn't quite make much progress in his career because that painful reality.
This list can go on and on without me stopping anytime soon.

To me The best solution to this lingering issues is to implement more rules in contact sport which can be very beneficial in reducing the injuries amount players.
Here some measures I think can be put in place.

Specific rules in Body contacts and physical conditioning:
I think players should go through some amount of fitness training, in order to get muscle strength and power in order to withstand physical demands.

Proper Training:
Player should be readily taught how to defend, block and dodge in order to reduce injuries.

In conclusion:
Implementing some of these rules will help reduce injuries and fatal accident during the sport.

I also will agree that implementing some rules is my choice more better because the way those guys get injured all in the name of sports is uncalled for.

Very very important,
I remember when my favourite player got a year long injury
