Hello everyone,
It feels so nice to be back here again with another task of course it's helping us build and navigate our way through the hive community, from the meeting which was held last Sunday and was anchored by ma @ nkemakolam89 we were asked some questions and I'll love to write on those questions I would love to answer those questions.

THE QUESTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS :
HOW IS HIVE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS LIKE WEB2

My onboarder introduced me to Hive with an assignment, that assignment was, what do you understand about Web 3. I was a bit confused as normal. I went to Google and searched things about web3 and when I came back he said most of the things I got were not actually correct and he went on to explain a lot of things to me. He said under Web 3 is going to be specific about Hive and now he said like other ones like Web 1 and then they are all social media platforms operated by different individuals both owned by one person or an organization but web3

He gave an example whereby you might have a TikTok or Facebook account that is owned by a particular individual but he went on to say web3( HIVE) is a blockchain not really owned by one man or anybody in particular, also there are rules and regulations on the blockchain. Which brings me to the answer of question 2.

Vividly explain the following in your own understanding:

PLAGIARISM: now plagiarism is copying a text or a work that is not yours and not ascribing or referencing to the original work which you got a copy from. Allow me to use Freepik as an example now will you get me a picture from Freepik you have to always drop the link there so that anyone reading your post will know where you got your picture from and may want to use it. I also got to know from my onboarder that every work or text that is being published goes through a plagiarism test.
VOTE BEGGING : boots and begging is all about smelling understanding you trying to go into others on your post and asking I'm begging people for them to vote on your post to increase your hive point and all that, my on boarder will always say in all u do look out for the hive police they are very keen on disciplining those faulty of plagiarism and vote begging.
POST RECYCLING: to the best of my knowledge about post recycling I feel it's all about you picking maybe a post you wrote before or somebody else's post and then posting it on your blog again I heard it's called reblog or reblogging.
WAYS IN WHICH THE USE OF TAGS IS RELEVANT TO OUR POST AND FIVE GENERAL TAGS I ALREADY KNOW

As for the tags each helps for publicity, and in cases where you post in a particular community your tags help others to find your post easily, it also helps with recognition

GENERAL TAGS I KNOW ALREADY

1 Hive
2 Neoxian
3 Proofofbrain
4 Hive-engine
5 Women

Sort:

Nicely done dear 😘 but, reblogging is sharing someone's post from their blog to yours, it's not post recycling. You were correct with your initial definition of one reposting their old post, passing it as a new one.

Thank you very much. I'll keep that in mind 🙏

You are welcome 🙂
