What do you think of the Newbies Initiative, and how has it helped your Hive journey?
Well, I think this newbies initiative programme is very educating, enlightening and a very welcome project that has helped a lot of newbies understand how the blockchain operates.
This programme has helped me understand:
Blockchain games and it's earnings
Tribe token, tipping/mining & hive engine
Different Hive dApps
Hive security
The effect and consequences of plagiarism
Setting of hive goals and strategies for achieving them
How to apply markdowns and citation
How did you benefit from the tasks?
My benefits so far include:
- Building my reputation
- Making new friends
- Improved writing and engagement skills
- Monetary gains
What aspects of the Initiative do you believe we could enhance, and how?
So far, I think the initiative is ok and need no enhancement.
Recall the Newbies Initiative Task 1 when you were required to list your objectives. Tell us about your objectives and the extent you’ve come.
At the beginning of this programme, I had some objectives I wished to achieve at the end of the seven (7) weeks programme like every of my mate here and they are:
Make at least a post each day
To be active and interactive on all the social media platforms for the hivers
Make quality engagement and comment on fellow content creators.

Conclusion
When I joined Hive newly, I was confused on how to go about it and it was after few months that I decided to try anyhow and luckily this newbies initiative programme came through at the right time and helped me understand better.

How can I forget my understandable, cheerful and wonderful teammates and our amiable team leader? You guys are the best and I pray the bond continues beyond this programme.
