One of the charms of Nigeria lies in the various delicious meals we have access to ranging from the most economical and less expensive to the most pricey and expensive.
I have had the opportunity to taste various expensive and less expensive meals it all depends on the weight of my pocket at that moment. Since the economy is not friendly we need to cut costs so as not to go broke easily.
First, the most inexpensive yet sumptuous meal that I enjoy when am on a tight budget, it's noodles. It's one of those everyday food items that we can easily get and take for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I can make do with the small pack which was 70 naira but now it is 170 naira. It is accessible to the average Nigerian and it has a comforting taste and economic value. With only a few naira, this simple meal can go a long way without being heavy on my pocket.

On the other hand, the most expensive meal I have eaten is the seafood okra that is served in these expensive restaurants. This meal contains expensive seafood like prawns, lobsters, crab, and fish making it quite expensive. It can cost thousands of naira depending on the restaurant. At the restaurant, I ate it then was up to ten thousand naira for a plate and a small wrap of poundeded yam. It's more expensive now because the economy is no longer smiling at us.
While noodles are a regular part of my breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the expensive seafood okro is not something I eat very often. I don't want to finish my salary by eating expensive okro soup hehe! The price of that soup is not for regular consumption. I go for it when am celebrating special occasions or when I hit a jackpot at the office and I want to use it as an excuse to treat myself.
This country's food caters to all kinds of foodie out there. there's always a meal that can fit into our budget. We should always eat right and live a healthy life.
