Hey, Hivers! We had another Newbies Initiative tutorial where we were taught about tribe tokens and tags. For the task accompanying the tutorial, I’ll be answering a couple of questions based off of what I learnt.
| Why do communities create tokens on Hive? |

Tokens built on the Hive blockchain are created by communities to reward their members for posting and engaging. They make a community stand out and encourage more engagement in the community. Some tribe tokens include: LADY(LOH), ARCHON, CINE, LEO, and others.
| Explain why the use of tags is very important on Hive. |

Tag usage is very important and it cannot be overemphasized. This is because it affects the visibility of posts. A post that has the appropriate tags will easily be discovered when curators search for that type of content. It will also gain search engine visibility when others outside Hive search for contents on that topic. When a post is not properly tagged, it could easily be missed.

A general tag is one that can be used for any type of content. Some of them include:
- #hive
- #neoxian (Neoxian city)
- #cent
- #hive-engine
- #proofofbrain (Proof of Brain)

| What are the various ways you can earn tribe tokens on Hive? |

One of the easiest ways to earn tribe tokens is by using tribe token tags.
Another easy way to earn tribe tokens is by joining, posting, and engaging in a community.
You can also earn tribal tokens by taking part in contests. Some communities that reward contest winners with their tokens include Ladies of Hive and CineTV.
By delegating some Hive Power to a particular community, you could earn their tribe tokens.
By staking some tokens you have, you could also gain more tokens.
