Liketu or how your photos can work for you!

How much time do you spend on the internet looking for an interesting idea on how to do something? How often do you look for how to do your makeup or hair in a new way, how to paint a room more attractively or even how you can cook something delicious with very few ingredients?

I will answer - a lot!

Do you notice what most of the results are?

They are from a content and image sharing platform. Today I want to tell you a little more about one such platform on Hive - Liketu.

Now I will show you how to activate your profile there and what you can find in it.

Clicking the login button pops up a popup from which you can login with your Hive account, if you don't have one you can create one.

Signing in is possible via the Hive Keychain browser add-on (when using the desktop version of the site) or by directly entering a username (account name) and private key.

I log in to my account which has no registration there.

This is the frontend view after logging in.

The menu is not large, but it contains everything you need to publish your content.

Dashboard - you need to enter this page and activate the account for additional features.

After activation you will receive a notification like this. By activating the profile like this, the content creator is given a few different options to help them sort the content in the frontend in a certain way. It is allowed to have "hidden" images or posts that are only accessible if a user subscribes to you.

You don't have to use them, but it is an additional option.

To make your first post from the menu you click the "camera" button. A window opens in which you can add a maximum of 10 photos that are no larger than 400-500KB. I have noticed this file size limit on a trial and error basis. My images didn't want to upload as I waited 20-30 minutes, another user advised me to reduce the file size and everything went as it should.

You add a title, text to the post, tags, payout method to the post, and for a few months now you can choose which community you want to post in. Voila! You're ready!

As you know these posts can be seen by other frontends like Ecency, Peakd and Hive.blog by watermarking the images with the Liketu logo. This watermark can be removed from the profile settings.

To make sure your images upload you should see this - those green lines on the images.

➡️ Recommendation

To make sure everything is ok it is good to activate the profile and wait a few hours before posting there, because there is a waiting process.

Thank you so much ma for this tutorial. My question is, how can I activate the premium package?

Actually I haven't activated it, since all that you post in Hive is free to be viewed from all frontends. This premium may be prevents from viewing the content from that specific frontend.
