Hi, I've been thinking for a while about something related to the movies we watch at home. It's not surprising that I like "fairy tale movies" or sci-fi. I'm a big fan of Marvel movies and one of the reasons is that they introduced the world to superheroes! The idea of superheroes continues to fascinate both kids and adults like me. But what are these superheroes? What powers do they have? And how can I become one?
I had a birthday party 10 days ago and getting super powers would have been the perfect gift but again it didn't work out.
Out of the many Marvel superheroes some of my favorites from the Avengers, Captain America, Thor and Ant-Man. It's a bit odd for a woman to associate with male super heroes , but that's me and I'm not surprised by anything anymore.
Why did I choose them?
Captain America is unique, how did I know that was he was frozen under the ice for over 50 years and after thawing he survived, even fought the bad guys.
Thor is a god - he can fly and smash things with a hammer - as a true destroyer who is capable of breaking things without much effort I empathize with him.
Antmen? He can get big and small whenever he wants. I am small in stature and growing a few inches in height is sometimes extremely important to me. At the moment I use a chair when I need to.
Sure, these characters have superpowers, but what kind? And what would it be like to have those for myself?
Besides their superpowers, superheroes do other things. They know many languages and are good at sports, for example, having great physical fitness, a high level of intelligence and knowledge in all areas of life, as well as fighting skills, information gathering (espionage), computer hacking, and much more.
Let's go back to the question...
If you ask me now what superpower I would like to get if I had the opportunity - it would be to clone myself. There are so many things I want to get done and time keeps pressing me and I don't have enough.
I imagine when I get up in the morning and one clone starts to deal with the child, wake him up, make him breakfast, somehow get him to eat/ Another clone starts the washing machine and stretches the clothes, then folds and puts them away, then washes the windows... yes, I am short and washing the windows of my apartment is a big problem. And me being able to sit at the computer and do the work I love without any hugs.
Come to think of it, I don't even need two clones one would be enough for me. Of course I wouldn't waste time cooking, eating, bathing and other such activities my super strength would involve - if one clone sits down to eat - everyone else gets fed without even stepping up to the table.
Oh, I was dreaming nice.
Unfortunately I have no such super powers, so I'm going to run another load of laundry so the clothes can dry by morning...
