There are a lot of things that i have done in my life which when i remember them it makes me happy and i will say to myself that i am proud of you, not one or two deeds but many, starting from the volunteering services down to repairing worn out footwears which is something that will continue to be my prideful moments...
While growing up i have always wanted to be loved and respected by people not because of fear but out love in the hearts of many, if there is one thing i have learnt from my father right from day one, it is that one should learn how to spread love around and to always be willing to learn from anyone including the young and old with the sole aim of impacting many more individuals in different ways....

3 years ago, i left home to venture into the world of INDEPENDENCE, i saved up all the money i have to pay up my trade learning fee, i saved my feeding allowance for years to be a SHOE MAKER, i was determined to be successful and my determination was my STRENGTH...
I have always loved anything that has to do with foot wears and then after i had some money saved up to go learn the hand trade, i went with my mum to the place and i eventually started learning how to make foot wears with some balance left to pay before graduation....

Before i started learning from my boss, i told him that i want to make my first palm in two weeks and my boss smiled and he said the knowledge to make foot wears will be after 2-3 months of learning....
I told him i can do it and i will do it, i told him confidently that i will make my first palm in two weeks and he smiled and continued working, thinking i was bluffing, it was at this moment i knew my pride was at stake and it was a challenge i made for myself and that day i started buying my palm materials and it was on the 10th day i started the challenge..
The last 10 days was a back to back serious learning and then i started cutting the materials, cut out the mako, linen the mako and also filed the nora and wet to be used for making the sole and i also filed the hills and added gum to it and then i attached all the piece together...

I was in shop doing this and after i finish cutting out a simple design i begged my boss to help me run it through the sewing machine after that i had already made the sole and in-sole, i attached the head to the in-sole and in no time i had laxed it out into the shape of my leg...
Lo and behold, my boss came back from the market and he saw the foot wear i made and he touched my head and said well done, he smiled and even if there were some small errors, my foot wear was standing and it was wearable...
The following sunday i wore my palm to church and i could see my friends looking at my leg, some asked me when did i buy my palm, i told them it was my first invention as a cobbler, some tested it out and smiled..
