Meet again with me @rahmatandeati who greets all of you again in the featured contest held by the Hive Learners community. As we know, all of these contests are very interesting and it's a shame not to be missed because here we can share opinions and tell stories according to the theme given in each edition. Now that we have entered the second edition, in the 49th week, the city will discuss something interesting that is very closely related to the chat that we do every day. With them adding the nuances of chatting what we do becomes more diverse and fun, not just with letters because now we can add Emoji, stickers and gifs to our conversations via social media. Of the three characters, of course we have our own choices which one we like more and which we often use in our chats. For this reason, on this occasion I will share my opinion about which character I like more and we use it more often in my chats.
The development of technology, especially social media which is increasingly diverse, makes it easier for us to have conversations with the closest people or even new friends we meet on social media. In having a conversation, of course, we sometimes use Emoji so that we can better express the sentences we want to convey to our friends in the conversation. In the past, Emoji were very rarely used, we could even say that they were not used at all when we were still using old school cellphones which only displayed Emoji in the form of symbols that didn't look attractive and were difficult to use. Even though we tried to use it in the past, not everyone would understand the Emoji symbol. I remember back then to use smile Emoji we had to use the symbol ":)" or ":-)".
But now Emoji has been supported on various social media and the appearance is also more attractive because it has been supported with a more diverse display of expressions as we often use now. To apply it is also very easy because we are given a special button to select the Emoji we want to use.
For now Emoji really helps us in every chat we do through social media. With Emoji, our chat doesn't look stiff and people who receive our messages also understand more of the messages we send to them. For example, when we want to joke or make a joke to a friend, we only need to insert a laughing Emoji or the like so that our friends are not offended by the message we send to them without having to run it again, our friends will also understand that the message we sent is just a joke. so as not to make our friends misunderstand.
Now there are so many kinds of Emoji that we can find on social media, so that there are even more various expressions that we can channel through Emoji. One of the Emoji that really appeals to me and I often use at the end of sentences in the messages I send is the Emoji with a beaming face and closed eyes. ( 😁 ) This emoji features a number with teeth showing clearly and eyes looking like a smile. For me, this Emoji can represent me smiling because in real life I often smile broadly by showing my teeth, for me a smile like that looks freer than smiling with just my lips without showing my teeth. For me, Emoji is able to convey my expression when I smile, so I use it very often in every chat I have.
Now Emoji will look normal and become commonplace because of the emergence of stickers and animated gifs that look more expressive than Emoji. Stickers provide a newer feel by displaying the expressions of the characters we like. It can be in the form of animated rice expressions that we like, even now there are stickers of facial expressions of artists that we like so that it adds even more fun nuances when we chat with our friends or partners. Most people now prefer to use stickers because the expressions are very diverse, moreover, they are supported by the characters we like, which give us a more extraordinary chatting experience.
As I mentioned earlier, there is one more thing that often makes our chat attack look more luxurious and wear almost the same as a sticker because it is able to display various animated characters and even expressions from artists we like so that our chatting experience is more enjoyable. As you might expect, it's Animated Gif. The gif features a sticker that can move for a few seconds so that's what makes it interesting. If the sticker only displays the image with a gif, we can see it moving so that it adds a more interesting nuance. Even now, we can make stickers and animated gifs from photos or even video clips from our partners so that they give a deeper impression because the characters are from people we know. Stickers and gifs are almost the same because they are able to display characters, not just an expression like emoji. But gifs are more luxurious and look fun because they can display moving images so that the meaning of the messages we send are conveyed more to our friends when chatting via social media.
I really like stickers and gifs because in my opinion they look more fun when we use them but Emoji will not be replaced because of the sample expressions that make it easier for us to apply them in every chat we do. But if I have to choose between stickers and gifs, I prefer gifs because the moving animations give us a more pleasant feel and make our chats feel livelier because the pictures can move compared to stickers that only display pictures. But I often use both depending on the situation I need.
Of all the developments, the most important thing for us is that we must always be wise in using technology, every development has its positive and negative sides, so it's no longer surprising if we find stickers or gifs with negative elements because that's all part of the times. We ourselves must be clever in choosing which ones we think are good and which are not good. Everything depends on ourselves. Don't let the development of the era make us forget and be negligent so that the box is wrong in using this technology.
