Crypto market has been seeing some price fluctuation over the last few days. Any sort of price hike has become a HOPE for crypto hodlers/traders. While at the same time the price has been falling quite steadily for the last one or two days which is also a concerning fact to the whole crypto community. Almost every top crypto is following that trend and their price has been falling down as we speak. HIVE has been on the list of those top list of cryptocurrencies. At the moment of writing this post, HIVE is sitting at $0.293. In the past few weeks back we have seen how HIVE has maintained the price range of 50 cents for a long time and then it came down to 35-40 cents and now we are seeing the price range of 30 cents area. We might see another possible scenario where HIVE reaches another lower low in the coming days unless anything good happens to the market.
When is the Right Time to power up HIVE?
When it comes to powering up HIVE few additional question arises :
- Am I thinking long term
- Does bulls and bears affects me
- How dedicated I am towards the HIVE Blockchain
The reason I am talking about long term is because whenever we power up HIVE there is a 13 weeks power down schedule. Which means after powering up HIVE if we want to take our HIVE out we would have to wait 13 weeks to get all the HP as liquid HIVE. Although, every week we will get a portion of HP as liquid HIVE. So before powering up we should think about long term and use the HP as wisely as possible for the growth of thyself and the blockchain.
Since the HP would be locked, I will definitely get intimidated by the bulls to come in the future. For which I myself am determined to take the best route as possible. Which is why keep in mind to be ready for the bulls and bears to come in the coming days. As a norm user I feel sad when I see my HP value dropping less than half, I just wonder how the whales would feel about this. Also the fact when bulls hit the market that feeling is something else which is not indescribable.
Just powering up HIVE does not really makes it work. Although, there are plenty of projects in HIVE where one can delegate HP and get a decent return from them. But the main fun and excitement lies when you are scouring through HIVE and selecting contents on your own and spread some love towards them. That feeling is something else. Helping others grow in this blockchain does really makes up for many unsaid things that we do.
Now lets talk about the right time to power up HIVE! Well, tbh there is no right time to power up HIVE. As because any time is best to power up HIVE. If we are talking about the price of HIVE than I would say the lower price one can buy HIVE the better it is for them. Well if we compare the amount invested during the price fluctuation we will see why.

See the above chart and you may see whenever the price of HIVE is low, it is best to take advantage of that price and use it power up HIVE. Since the investment would require a lot less compared to the price of HIVE when it rises. A clear decision to make I suppose.
Another scenario implies here is for content creators like you and I. Now is probably the best time to use 100% power up posts and increase the HP as much as possible. Since the fruit of this power up will be tasted when the market rises once again. Owning HP is definitely something to be proud of. And in long term it does really helps a lot. I want to own some huge chunk of HP for my account and use them as much as possible. But few stepping stones really is halting my path. But soon enough, I would be able to cross that road and I would be on the road once again. and join everyone like usual.
