Recipe: Cauliflower with potatoes | Creative-Sunday

in #hive-1538502 months ago

Hello guys. I hope you are all well. I couldn't participate in the Creative Sunday Contest last Sunday because I was busy preparing for my college test. But this post is for the Creative-Sunday Contest. Last time I made a drawing of a girl and you all liked her big eyes and reading so many nice comments gives me a lot of motivation. As you may know by reading the title, Today I have made recipe and it is my favorite recipe. Hope you will like this recipe too. Let's start with the procedure.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower = 1 kg
  • Potatoes = Half kg
  • Tomato = 30 gram
  • Onion = 30 gram
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • Ginger = 30 gram
  • Coriander
  • Oil = 100 gram
  • Ground Red chilli = 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt = 1 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric = Half Tablespoon

Procedure

As soon as I woke up in the morning, I started preparing the recipe because in the evening I have to go to the market for shopping. That's why I ordered all the ingredients from the market at night. I first took 30 grams of onion and peeled and chopped it well and put it in a pot and added 100 grams of oil and put it to cook on low flame.

As long as the onion does not turn light brown, we will cut the cauliflower. Wash the cauliflower well after cutting it. I took one kg of cauliflower as I mentioned in the ingredients above. Lightly brown the onion as over browning changes the taste and we have to be careful about that.

Now we will take 30 grams of ginger and peel it. Then prepare a paste of peeled ginger and green chillies. When the onion turns light brown then add this paste and cook it on low flame. It is quite easy to make and it is ready in less time. I made this recipe in about an hour.

Now take 30 grams of tomato and cut it into small pieces and add it. The tomato I added to it was so ripe and red I genuinely liked it. After that, add one table spoon of salt, one table spoon of ground red pepper and half table spoon of turmeric and fry it on a low flame and fry it for about 10 minutes.

Now take half kg of potatoes and after peeling them well, cut them. Then they will also be washed and added. We added them first because potatoes takes longer to cook. After roasting the potatoes for about 15 minutes, add the cauliflower. Then cook it on low flame. To cook the cauliflower quickly, a plate will be given on top of it so that the steam does not come out and it is cooked well. When they are cooked, then take off them from the stove and add chopped green coriander to it.

FINAL LOOK 😋
