Taxes and more taxes, for me this is never the solution to anything. Brazil is going through one of its most critical moments in this regard with the left-wing government of the Workers' Party (PT), I get goosebumps just writing that name, but anyway, the point is that these people, in addition to taxing so many things, come up with a story of taxing those who are richer much more. At first, this seems to be very cool, very fair, but is it really? I believe it is not and I will explain why.
Just like taxing everyone equally, whether you are low, middle or high class, the same percentage of taxes will not be the same amount for everyone, it will all depend on how much you earn, right? So if we made the tax proportional to each people's income range, we will indeed have a “greater justice”, taxing those who earn little a little, taxing those who are average a medium and a higher rate for those who earn a lot, this is really a way of conditioning the situation, but, if this is the right thing to do, what would make someone want to change their income bracket? Why would I fight my whole life to earn more if I'm going to have to pay more taxes?
Looking at it from this perspective, we would be stuck living our lives in the same place, with the same job, with the same everything, why move up in life? Why study more to get a cool job to earn more? If I become a millionaire, I will pay so much tax that my net worth will be the same that if you were in the lower class, do you understand the math? I don't think that's the way to go, more taxes are not the solution to the problems, after all, here in Brazil every year the collection increases, but the public services continue to be the same shit, the bandits continue to rule the country and the streets, so, if it raised more, why is everything still the same crap?
UnsplashNow, I believe you understand the issue better, the problem is not raising more money, the problem is having politicians who are not corrupt and who know how to managing money and the country, state or city in which they live, efficiently and transparently, that is the big challenge. Having money in the bank was never the real reason why everything is bad, it's simply the culture created by the honest politician that doesn't exist and the few that appear are eaten by the system, that's how it works. Taxing the rich or the poor won't solve anything, it will only make things worse. money diverted and hidden somewhere so that no one discovers the dirty tricks.
When they talk about taxing the rich men of the planet, like Elon Musk who has recently been involved in some controversies, I keep thinking the following:
“I find out something incredible that will help humanity throughout its existence, I fought to create this or that, put it into production, provide security and revolution and then I earn a lot of money because life is business my friends, nobody likes to work for free... and my invention gives me this money and the prize I get is to tax myself with more absurd amounts than the rest of the world. WOW!”
It’s depressing to read something like this, because I’m going to invent an app, a process, a machine to help the world and in return earn good money, achieve my dream that money will no longer be a problem and, in the end, True, I become an enemy of the world because they want to tax me to the gills. Man, that's not fair anywhere!
Finally, to conclude, taxes, more fees, more revenue, doesn't solve anything, as long as there are politicians who think they are gods and untouchable, this will continue, they can tax even the sun and the rain, there will still be a hole in my street and the public health center will still be full, education will be precarious and the rest you already know, more of the same.

Taxas e mais taxas, essa para mim nunca é a solução para nada. O Brasil vive um dos seus momentos mais críticos em relação a isso com o governo de esquerda do partido dos trabalhadores (PT), fico com arrepios só de escrever esse nome, mas enfim, o foco é que esse pessoal além de taxar tantas coisas, vem com uma história de taxar muito mais quem é mais rico. A princípio parece ser bem legal isso, bem justo, mas, será que é mesmo? Acredito que não seja e explicarei o porquê.
Da mesma forma que taxar igualmente a todos, se você é classe baixa, média ou alta, a mesma porcentagem de taxas não será o mesmo valor para todos, tudo irá depender de quanto você ganha, correto? Então se fizemos a taxa proporcional a cada faixa de ganho das pessoas, teremos sim uma “justiça maior”, taxar pouco quem ganha pouco, médio quem é médio e uma taxa maior para quem ganha muito, isso é realmente uma forma de condicionar a situação, mas, se isso é o certo, o que levaria uma pessoa a querer mudar de faixa de ganho? Por que lutarei a minha vida inteira para ganhar mais se vou ter que pagar mais imposto?
Olhando por esse lado estaríamos fardados a viver a vida no mesmo lugar, com o mesmo emprego, com o mesmo tudo, por que subir de vida? Por que estudar mais para entrar em um emprego bacana para ganhar mais? Se eu virar um milionário, vou pagar tanto imposto que o meu valor líquido será o mesmo que se estivesse na classe baixa, entendem a conta? Acho que não é por esse caminho, mais imposto não é a solução para os problemas, afinal, aqui no Brasil todo ano a arrecadação aumenta, mas, os serviços públicos continuam a mesma merda, os bandidos continuam mandando no país e nas ruas, então, se arrecadou mais, por que tudo contínua a mesma porcaria?
UnsplashAgora, acredito que você entende melhor a questão, o problema não é arrecadar mais dinheiro, o problema é ter políticos que não sejam corruptos e que saibam administrar o dinheiro e o país, estado ou cidade em que vivem, com eficiência e transparência, esse é o grande desafio. Ter dinheiro no caixa nunca foi o verdadeiro motivo de tudo estar ruim, simplesmente a cultura criada do político honesto que não existe e os poucos que aparecem são comidos pelo sistema, é assim que funciona. Taxar ricos ou pobres não resolverá nada, só terá mais dinheiro desviado e enfiado em algum lugar para que ninguém descubra as jogadas sujas.
Quando falam em taxar os homens ricos do planeta, como Elon Musk que ultimamente se envolveu em algumas polêmicas, eu fico pensando o seguinte:
“Eu descubro algo incrível que irá auxiliar a humanidade por toda a sua existência, batalhei para criar isso ou aquilo, colocar em produção, dar segurança e revolução e aí ganho muito dinheiro porque a vida é negócios meus amigos, ninguém gosta de trabalhar de graça... e a minha invenção me dá esse dinheiro e o prêmio que ganho é me taxar com valores mais absurdos do que o restante do mundo. UAU!”
É deprimente ler algo assim, porque irei inventar um aplicativo, um processo, uma máquina para auxiliar o mundo e em troca ganhar um bom dinheiro, conquistar o meu sonho de que dinheiro não será mais um problema e, na verdade, viro inimigo do mundo porque querem me taxar até a goela. Cara isso não é justo em lugar nenhum!
Enfim, para finalizar, impostos, mais taxas, mais arrecadamento, não resolve nada, enquanto houver políticos que se acham deuses e intocáveis, isso continuará, podem taxar até o sol e a chuva, ainda terá um buraco na minha rua e o posto de saúde pública ainda estará lotado, a educação será precária e o resto você já sabe, mais do mesmo.
