The second cohort of the Hive Bootcamp has concluded, and this post will provide results on how well participants completed the program. If you're just discovering this page, here's a quick rundown of what the Hive BootCamp is all about.
The Bootcamp started its first section last month which took in a number of people but none was able to make it to the end of the session. To know why, check this out.
We used the pre-recorded videos we prepared last month with six test quizzes for each topic presented for the second cohort, which took place this September. With 28 people attending the program, I am pleased to report that 20 of them completed the program and already have an account created for them.
We asked for feedback at the end of the session on how they thought the program went, and I was delighted to hear that we made everything simple to grasp and our test quizzes were straightforward to answer. The pre-recorded films we had developed made it extremely easy for them, and one of the newbies commented that anyone who sits to follow the explanation of the recording would undoubtedly find the test quizzes too easy to answer.
We have currently provided their account information to them via Google mail. This would allow them to have their password kept at least on their email, and then be able to store it wherever they want.
The email not only contains their passwords but also instructions on how to make an introductory post, which they must share with the @hive-bootcamp for us to approve before they are published. To be able to publish, delegations would be sent from my account to each of these accounts.
When the introductory posts are published, we will provide a collection of introduction blogs written by people who attended the BootCamp.
WHAT'S NEXT?
My team is currently working on producing video Ads to inform people about Hive and why they should go through the Hive Bootcamp training phase. At the same time, people are already signing up for the next Cohort of newbies, which will begin in the second week of October.
We are planning a seamless transition for the September Cohort to learn about using discord. The discord server is required so that all of the people that went through the BootCamp can meet other Hive discord communities.
Kindly stay tuned to the @hive-bootcamp account... We would be dropping the introductory posts soon and also be making weekly feature articles on the account.
