Mobile devices have eased our life significantly. It has bring so many changes in the lifestyle that is hard to notices. We should be more thankful to the different #application (in short we know them as 'apps') that runs on the mobile devices. Mobile apps make everyday tasks more efficient and convenient. For example, users can access information and do tasks while on the go. From shopping, to chatting to banking to gaming. We use multiple application on our mobile devices. I belive in the absence of these apps mobile usage would have been very minimal. But in order to get everything under the fingertip, we end up downloading excess mobile apps on our mobile devices. We often made use of apps few times and then leave them unattended on mobile system.
(my mobile screen)
Google play store offers a wide range of mobile application for users to download. I remember, there was a time, when inhad many games on my mobile, later when the food delivery apps like of #swiggy and #zomato were launched, I had them on my devices. I order foodd only few times, and then it remain unused for quite a number of years. Afterall,Who like to order food everyday? Ultimately, I ended up uninstaling them from my devices. User should be aware that, it is not good to have unnecessary apps on our mobile device because they can impact our device's storage, performance, and security:
Unused apps can take up storage space.
Unused apps can impact our device's performance. Hanging, slowing down are few signs to take note of it.
Unused apps can potentially impact our device's security, especially if they are no longer being updated with security patches. It can track our location, or access personal data.
Unused apps can clutter our device. Who likes to keep the mobile screen cluttered. Even at office we follow clean desktop policy.
While buying a mobile phone, one of the important criteria that I looks forward to is that if the device having bloatware? Bloatware is a form of marketing that puts services directly in front of consumers. These apps that come pre-installed on devices, can affect our device in a number of ways. However the best part of these bloatware is that, the user can uninstall them at any point of time. Cleaning up of our apps can make your device easier to navigate.
Over the years, I have learned the basic of handling the mobile in more effective way. Rather than keeping every other app, my mobile is more content with minimum application. As i look back to my mobile screen, i see only acrive apps that are useful to me in day to day life. Having fewer apps on our phone can be useful in a few ways:
Speed up your phone: Having fewer apps running in the background can help your phone run faster. Older phones in particular may not be able to handle a lot of background activity.
Save space: Having fewer apps on our phone can save space on our device.
Reduce complexity: Having fewer apps on our phone can make our life less complicated.
In case, if I need to make use of certain app now and then, like #Ola #Uber or #fb, I install them for a day and then uninstall them once the use gets over. It is better to have a fair approach to the technology. In now way, I see the absence of these apps affecting me any more. I am not more addicted to games or shopping. I have now only those apps thatni require in my day to day life. One can count them on finger tip. I am quite satisfied handling a clutter free device.
Peace!!
