Ever since social media platform comes into pictures, we have seen a great degree of influences over it. In the last decades or so, Social media has evolved tremendously. From #orkut, #myspace, #facebook, #twitter to many other. It has brought about some positive impact as well as negative impacts to the society. It is surprising to see how these online platform has becomes a source of spreading news and bringing changes in the society overnight. In recent times Social media has becomes a vital way for people to communicate with each other, regardless of distance. It allows people to share information, files, pictures, videos, and create blogs and send messages. However, it has many other roles to play, and one of the major player is Cancel culture.

Cancel culture on social media often involves group shaming on platforms like Twitter and Instagram. The people who are subject to this ostracism are said to have been "canceled". Cancel culture can have lasting effects on reputations and careers, impacting both virtual and real life aspects. It does not take long enough to see some viral hastags circulating all over the place.

Cancel culture is a social phenomenon that involves ostracizing, boycotting, or shunning people who have acted or spoken in an unacceptable way. We get to see such things especially during election times or during some major important world event. Social media has accelerated this phenomenon, leading to rapid and widespread public judgments and reactions. The role of social.media is like adding fire to fuel. Some say that cancel culture is aimed at antagonizing people for aggressive and unreal reasons. It can involve hating and demonizing the canceled person, and attempting to destroy them.

People who are following the social media starts believing on such widespread news and soon becomes part of the revolution. They get so deep into the matter that even without understanding the situation and learning about the facts, they becomes a part of the so called movement. They start to spread such news aggressively among their known ones and causing panic all over the. We alwsys get to see such things gere in my country. Any social or political get into a trending topic and we see tremendous support all over the social media.

In my opinion, nowadays people are more favoring the social media based education system, where every matters were presented with facts and reports. People started learning on them and get into any matter without judging the root cause nor the end result. It was like following a huge mass blindfolds. Each one of us has been powered up with some sense organs, which must be put into use. Rather letting them useless. As such we muat adhere tonour sensed before concluding on any fake or trending cancel culture. Better to make own research than relying on rumoured facts that may cause harm and panic to others.

Peace!!

The issue is so much misunderstanding towards other people's choice of action.

It's so unfortunate that people no longer have interest to get to the roots of happenings before been judgemental and the worst of it all they call it content creation and are happy doing so which is so sad.

I knew that this phenomenon existed, this type of culture, but I didn't know what it was called. Those who use the networks have told me about it. But with your post I learn. Thank you!
