Happy start to this new week community and friends 🥰💕. Hope we are all enjoying the warm weather and sunshine ☀️.
A good loving topic to start the week and one that brings reflections to us showing that we must not always think only of ourselves or the things that should favor us alone.
Volunteering is one service or care we do to help others and always must come from our heart ♥️. And this kind of work must not be done only when we come together as a group or when people go to volunteer for certain assignments, but a service we can also carry out as an individual to mankind.
Volunteering can be in different ways by either helping the sick, the aged, community or children, especially the orphans. And this is a care we give from our hearts ♥️ without expecting a reward which is why its things we do willingly and doing them wholeheartedly.
Its never always too conducive for us to volunteer to help others but I love to always take an opportunity once I see the need to care for others. As a young girl I remember how my mother will always take me to a community church where we worship. And once am back from school during some weekends usually on a Saturdays, we will go to the church to sweep all around the environment and dust all the chairs, keeping everywhere ready for the Sunday service. This is when I first learnt of volunteering services and she will always tell me that these kind of work is done from our heart ♥️.
And doing something for others is what I see as a kindness we must show from time to time, nothing waiting for anyone to force you to do it. I have taken constantly some volunteering service in my present church where I teach young children every Sundays. This service I see as work I decided to do from my heart ♥️ despite some inconsistencies I encounter. But its a thing of joy to see smiles on the faces of this children every Sunday when we seat together to read stories from the children Bibles.
And just this past Saturday, our department section in the church which is responsible for beautification of the church called every member for a volunteer work to beautify the church environment. And our group was assigned with arrangements of lots of clothings donated by people to the church ⛪️. We were to select and arrange each according to sex, size and outfit types. We arranged some as corporate outfits, some natives, some children wears and others young age. It was a job we did for hours. Each bags being filled, masking taped and taking to the area where members will choose according to what they like. These are clothings donated by members who feel they want to give to others.
Experiences like this shows me how important it is for us to make out time not only for ourselves but time to care for others. Its also a thing to note on how there is power in loving 🥰 when many comes together in believe to share and show care for others. We should always be our brothers keeper not thinking 💭 about ourselves only even though it might not be conducive at all times.
When next will I do it again? I feel this kinds of services are concurrently unless one is not in a place where there is the need to always see something to do for others. Apart from the department work I do in the church, I always make sure to participate in teaching those involved in taking care of the church conveniences of how to keep everywhere clean due to how am involved with properties as a Realtor.
However, I tries to also help the aged who are weak. I have an old woman who I go too see to make sure her cookings are done every weekend by her house keeper because her daughter was transferred to another state because of work. These are some kindness we show without expectations. They are keep coming your way even without you expecting them. I believe life is a circle ⭕️ especially when we are openminded.
Volunteering is what I see as an everyday encounter especially if we are within a community or have people around us that needs constant support.
