Hi everyone
Hope you're doing great?
Well it's our week 10 edition 2
in five years
You are to write a letter to yourself in the future, talk about the things you're going through and how you are working to make things easier in the future, what would you love to tell yourself five years from now?
Hey dear me five years from now
How are you doing?
You're taking a leap of faith, your past isn't your future; put all your hurts and disappointment behind you. Stop limiting your thinking and believe in your dreams you're starting a new chapter of your life.
Embrace your creativity, don't shy away from it, remember your childhood goals, and dreams and find that again, always engage yourself in what makes you happy, and keep believing for the best.
It's been two years now since you graduated from the University, and since that time, you've explored several things: you've worked at two places which was a life-changing experience, it was all part of the plans in building your confidence.
Ah, what is the meaning of life? What is my purpose on this planet? It's the million naira question. I wish I could tell you that I've completely figured it out by now or that path towards discovering it is easy.
I know you may think you haven't relatively had diverse learning and working experience compared to some of your peers by now but the truth is, you're just getting started and you'll experience that as time goes by.
You'll continue your studies by getting your ICAN certificate, and get into all sorts of other jobs/ projects and experiences but all helping you along your path to discover what you're good at, what you're not, and what brings value to the world as a whole and your life.
And remember it's not all about you pursuing your passion as much as it is finding how you can best contribute to society, and every time you think you've figured it out you've not.
Just make sure that whatever you do, you're guided by your values and that you won't give those up for anything or anyone. Never do things for the money if you don't have to. Yes, we need money to survive, but also people generally need less money than they think. It's better to reduce the amount of money you need to get by than to make money in ways that don't align with your value.
Final words: You're a great woman, I need you to always remain focused in life, don't you ever underestimate yourself because you're the most amazing lady I've ever seen, just keep working especially when it's hard, and it will all work out in the end. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses, though the ride is even better than the destination you think( and the destination is pretty awesome).
thank you for reading
Cheers🌹
