Now back to the topic at hand
The holiday season always brings this mix of emotions - joy and relaxation intertwined with the looming responsibilities ahead,So the holiday for me ends when class resumes , So for the second Semester of my school we resumed 25th of November, though I missed class twice because of my sister's wedding, but I resumed back after the wedding week. So just last two weekends we were given the farce of a break till the 4th of January, So let's say my holiday ends on January 4th,also my kids resumes school on the 6th and we all know that when School children resumes school, everyone already gets the holiday period out of their head and starts thinking about getting money. As January 4th approaches, I'm mentally preparing for the shift in gears. The holiday decorations will come down, and all the festive treats will be replaced by routine meals, and our daily schedule will return to its familiar pattern ,All the Money we have spent during the festive period,we look for means to start saving up for new year responsibilities. Somehow I don't like getting choked with this , but it is certainly part of life. So as soon as school resumes for me and the kids, Especially the kids, they will need new notebooks, pencils, and those little things that somehow always run out faster than expected. It's amusing how each year, despite my best efforts to stock up, we always seem to need something more. The start of their school term brings its own unique challenges. There's the morning rush to get everyone ready, packed lunches to prepare, and homework to supervise in the evenings.it is back to being serious, reading ,working online etc.

Whatever one can do , one does to get out the holiday shivers . I won't say I'm looking forward to it , well because there would be alot of things I would start focusing my mind on , on my bills , on the children bills, my final exam for my ND programme, My class project ,Oh the class project, now that's another story altogether. It's interesting how during the holiday break, these academic obligations hover in the background like persistent shadows. You try to push them aside to enjoy the festivities, but they're always there, gently reminding you of their presence. I've been jotting down ideas here and there, even during family gatherings sometimes inspiration strikes at the oddest moments. all this are things that are on the table when this holiday goes away.
More like they are things that were left pending, though they were there before the holiday started ,These past few weeks of celebration and family time have flown by like leaves in a strong wind, while the upcoming exam preparation period seems to stretch endlessly. Oh well, we still have to face it . Hehe.
