Hiyooo,
How are we doing today?
This post is not to reminisce on past events. If you want to read what happened, I guess you will have to read my past post here.
They say "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" but what they fail to tell you are the emotional battles you engage in before taking that first step. Well, my own journey of a thousand miles began with a lot of tears, depression and more tears. Even after I took the first step as I continued to support myself with my other skills to bounce back up, I still ended up losing everything later. Those events were enough to break anyone and I have to tell you for a fact, I was broken. I had to just go back to my roots (my mama house) and strategize God bless that woman for me. Her prayers and all got me back and I was encouraged by few communities on hive to start blogging back.
So, this story will be divided into 3 parts. The Build, The Launch and The Business. The last part is all about happenings in the business. So my people of hive, let's dwell on the first part. THE BUILD...

So, after all the strategizing, all I needed to do now was to get them in motion and by doing that, I had to remove laziness and procrastination from my future that was what brought about the writing on the said major roadblock. Total budget to rebuild back the physical business was about 1.5M and I had zero naira in my account.
What I planed was to put all my skills in place to accomplish this. From my trading skills to my writing, my affiliate marketing every of my developed skill went in place and gradually, we were making progress.
How hive gave me a boost.
How hive helped me in starting the journey.
So, I had some hive stored up in my account and when I checked the market, I saw that the tendency for hive to touch the moon was high so I decided to power down (apologies to the community) and I also acquired a little more hive. I needed that encouragement that all these weren't just in my head but can also become a reality.
While waiting for the power down to be completed, I was contacted to affiliate a product or site. Giving it my all, I was able to pull a nice percentage for my business.
I started gathering money but as I gathered, I realized that the money was going elsewhere (food majorly) lolz 😂 . So what I started doing was to start buying the things that were needed little by little.
I started with the major thing which was the structure. The container needed was already in my head and I had a plan of how it would look like and all. So I went around getting quotations of how much it would cost to reproduce my idea. After speaking with several welders, I was able to get the one that would cost me less, I made a deposit and I was glad to see him start after a few days.
While that was happening, I went to my contact list and started getting peoples attention that I am still a tested and thrusted crypto vendor. Getting one person to tell his friends, I started getting deals that left me in shock. I was getting deals as much as #60,000 (sixty thousand naira) in less than 5 minutes.
This was God coming through for me this I knew. I also started doing small awareness of crypto currency on my status.
I can remember when I spoke on hive reaching around #1500 then, someone secretly bought at low and his profit was x3.
This journey didn't start this year but last year. A 2 years journey now coming to realization. Each month, I had a commitment to get major stuffs for the business.
While the container was getting ready, I had already gone shopping for my rice, spag, groundnut oil, coolers, foil, pots, etc. But there was a major issue that later came up.
The issue of space.
This issue was one that I didn't know was this huge. When acquiring space for my last one, all I needed to do was just reach out to the owner who happened to be a neighbor (his house was close to mine). So since the land was vacant, he leased it to me for free.
Having that same mentality, I miscalculated that if I wanted to change location to the road, I needed to have started making arrangements. Omoooo I practically spoke to everyone I knew and those I didn't even know I ended up knowing through referrals. But all was not making way. This was a major set back, what's the need of all the stuffs if the space wasn't available. By this time, the welder had already finished his work and the pressure to move the container was getting on me.
There was a place I had big hopes of getting but after all talks and promises made they even asked for a test of my food. When I was preparing to start work o the land, the manager of the office where I was to put my container outside their fence then interrupted and said I couldn't continue that they needed permission from their senior branch.
I was emotionally, mentally drained on hearing this and I practically gave up. But after I looked back at what I had spent so far, I knew that giving up wasn't an option. The delay was really massive that people started to advice me to dead the idea and sell off everything. Even the welder was like "if I want to sell the container, he has a buyer". Ones again, I went back to plan.
As I was out one Saturday morning to get my daily bread (literally speaking) my breakfast bread and egg. The shop owner asked about my business and if I had plans to start up again. I said yes but told him the dilemma I was facing at the moment. He was like, I should wait for him to call someone. So I waited, after his call, he told me of the discussion made and my options were a shop and a land and if I was interested we could go check them out that moment but I needed to pay for inspection first 😂😂😂. Agents and money ehhhh. So I paid and with his vehicle, we went to pick the other agent and went to check the places.
Getting to the place of the shop (the already constructed building), I saw that the environment alone was a no no. The building was located far from the main road and the reach to students which are my major target is very poor. Now seeing the building, I wasn't even encouraged the slightest. I just turned it down immediately and asked to be taken to the next option.
The other option was a bare land and was fit for the already awaiting container. The location was very very nice, distance to the market wasn't an issue. Everything was nice but the only issue was that it was far from my house which was not really an issue like that. Finally a testimony that would build up my mind. After speaking to my mum and siblings about it and they also approved of the place and after doing my SWOT analyses, I made payment and was set to move my container.
Also, issues came up again and it took me additional 2 months or so to settle this issue but we scaled through by God's grace.
So, I guess I will stop here with the writing and let pictures do the rest talking. I will upload a video compilations soon.
HIVE CAME THROUGH AGAIN. THANKS YOU ALL.
