The world is complex and this complexity lies in everythings. Even the things that look simple,are complex too if they, and their impacts are appraised properly. Evil is of two types. Sometimes it shows its negative outcomes clearly and it becomes easy to describe it as vice while sometimes its manifestations are very elusive. Though it majorily impacts society in bad way but playing with psychology of people,it sometimes become hard to define it vice clearly.
Gambling is one of such evil acts which lure innocent and immature mind and shows them green pasture of instant progress. It proclaims to change the life course of deprived ones in some minutes. This lure attracts many people to them to check their luck. While some win,many lose money and net result is always loss.
Gambling has existed since humanity has. Many societies and religions have condemned it. In one form or another it has existed some times in the form of dice,sometimes on animal fights,sometimes in life events and sometimes in weather forecasts as well. Gambling is such a vice in which people loss their cognition wnd bet on every belonging. If we take citations from hinduism, it is narrated that pandavas made a bet on their wife even and lost.

Today, like everything gambling have also digitised. In the form applications,it has made access to every mobile user. Now sitting on your bed,you can simply bet on your money. There are alot of betting websites and applications being marketed by influencers and celebrities as life-changing without paying heed to disasters they may cause.
Many countries have even legalised it to get tax benefits from their high income. In many developed countries,casinos are one of profit making businesses and the governments enjoy greater cut from their income. One person who suffer in all this money Game is common man who falls prey to this trap.
In my life, I have seen many examples of gamblers who have destroyed not only their life but have compelled their familes as well into squalid and miserable position. Gambling keeps a weird addiction. One who wins ,further gets addicted to it and one who loses further indulges in to it to compensate its losses.

Being a muslim, Islamic teachings and directions are of utmost importance for me. Islam unequivocally admonishes the gambling and illicit earning of money. Islam promotes the earning of money by honesty and hardwork. As in one of surrah it is stated as
*They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, "In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit." They also ask you what to give to charity: say, "The excess." GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you, that you may reflect, upon this life and the Hereafter
Even if I have to opine as social person, I will still rebuke the act of gambling. I have great objections to those eho promote this for the sake of money. They are real cause behind propagation of this vice which destroys life of innocent persons. Though it is not a drug but it has addiction more than drug. It has more capcity to ruin the lives than drugs. In my opinion , the governments must ban all type of gambling whether they are being operated covertly or overtly. This is only way to save people. Otherwise many ones will fall prey to this addiction.
