My relationship with Pakistan didn’t form the day I was born, It was forged 78 years ago when a tribe of 20 members from District Karnal of province Haryana, made their decision to migrate towards a newly formed state whose ideology was based on principles of Islam. Islamic ideology was the sole foundation for the formation of this state. Looking for a bright and distinctive future they marched towards an uncertain place leaving behind their ancestors, their home, their properties, and their life savings. The journey they started wouldn’t be easy for them because the whole path from Karnal to Lahore was a hotspot for riots and extremisim that time but they didn’t keep any scruples and offered sacrifices which were demanded from them and reached Lahore Migrants Base camp with just 8 in numbers. Their gallantry and sacrificing nature didn’t let them mourn over the demise of their companions and they started striving because their leader, under whose intuitive and astute guidance this country came into being, asked them to work hard with full potential to build up the newly formed nation in such a way that they are first and last citizen of this country. The love for my country was inserted into my blood and genes that day and I have been reminded many times the roots of this nation have strengthened from your blood and now to keep the leaves alive is your responsibility.
Unfortunately, this country had been surrounded by oligarchs and monarchs since its inception. Those who were appointed to serve the nation ruled and pillaged it brutally. Those who were appointed to legislate the rights of their flocks started enjoying pompy life. Those who were assigned to protect the nation from outer animosities,greedingly watched towards the power of governance. Corruption, political instability, nepotism, grafting, negligence of duty, injustice, extremism, hatred, separation riots, violation of rights, dictatorship, and extra-judicial interference soon surrounded this fledgling state and contained its progress.
But the nation didn’t lose hope. The nation didn’t lose hope even when their Quide was deprived of basic commodities. The nation didn’t lose hope after the brutal murder of its first PM. The nation didn’t lose hope after the first attack on the constitution by a military coup. The nation even didn’t shatter when the country was divided in 1971. The nation endured persistent attacks on the constitution, luxurious spending of rulers, violations, and deprivation of rights but didn’t lose hope. The nation didn’t lose hope when every promise made, remained unfulfilled.
Today,77 years have passed but the situation is the same with a slight difference now the nation has lost hope. The country still grapples with the issue that plagued it decades ago. The nation now remembers the desecration of Madr e millet and laments their blind trust in gallant cowards. They have perceived that they are still in the colonial era. The nation’s dream of being a great and ideal nation has been shattered now. The state of despondency and melancholy is to that extent that now the nation is turning back to this country which does not fault this squalid condition.

But I am optimistic about this country still. Because I know this country will last till the dawn of the last day. Because I know the value of blood which was offered to bolster the edifice of that country. Because I know I am the first and last citizen to whom our founder asked to work hard for the nation. Because I am one of those illuminations who are still enlightened in these stormy hurricanes and torrents. Because I know I can’t stop loving and cherishing this land as it's the part of my religion on whose idealogy this country came into being.
And it is not only me, it's you and everyone. So why express ostensible carelessness? Let’s stop hoping for those in power and play our part. Let's promote unity. Let us not fade the sacrifices into oblivion. Let's leave a base for revolution at least. Let's consolidate to corroborate Quide’s saying that no power on Earth can undo Pakistan.
