When I first read the hive learner’s topic of the day, I remembered a very hilarious video I watched on social media. So it was like
“In the video, a man enters the slum with some goods and envelopes in his hands. He was going door after door, giving them goods and envelopes that contained money, and capturing photos while giving them life commodities. This was embarrassing all those but they were not in any position to squabble. That man in his swing knocked on a door from which a boy came out. When he tried to repeat his act the boy stopped him and entered again in his house. After sometimes the boy came out adorned in a beautiful suit with goggles on his face. Now the boy appearing more richer than that man. He accepted that commodities now and asked to click photographer as well. Through his gestures, the boy was giving an ostensible appearance that boy is giving charity to that man😂😂.”
You all might have seen such heinous acts when a person in the guise of charity humiliates affectees and glorifies his act through photos and flaunty posts on social media. I witnessed this mostly during the COVID-19 pandemic when businesses were shut down and there was a complete lockdown, confining people to their houses. Many were facing starvation and experiencing the hardest time of their life. Some of them were audacious enough to seek help from others while many white-collar persons were facing all this hard time alone with their families but were not daring to unearth their squalor condition to them because they knew that this would bring humiliation more than sympathy and help.
I personally witnessed people knocking on the doors and giving humiliation to them in the name of charity. But they had no other choice except to accept that because, inside the walls of his house, many of his loved ones might be having hunger cramps. This is a truly gruesome act. It must be discouraged because is is a clear insult to the affected person.
Islam says when you hive charity to others with your right hand even uiur left hand shouldn't know about it. Charity must be solely to help someone, to spread love, and to spread mutual cooperation. Those who develop heinous ways of giving charity dilapidate the moral status of society. I believe that when you help soneone you must not even use such words or gestures that make him fee uncomfortable . We must help in such a way that next person feels he is being given aid from a person whim he knows for centuries.Because this is the real philosophy of charity. An honored person can survive without but not without respect and dignity.
This is about charity. There are many other matters when people share their belongings with others because they have some concealed benefits in them. For example,
Offering bribe in the name of gifts to governance officials so that he favours u.
Gifting expensive items to win the heart of someone to yield some benefits later.
And many conditions like this when the sender doesn't help someone by heart but by evil mind.

There is no debate that it is absolutely wrong. It is against humanity and emotions. It is like playing with the emotions of someone and evaluating his feelings with some price. Although Islam preaches that gifts should be reciprocated I personally avoid receiving gifts because I perceived this far earlier majority of gifts are presented to baffle you. For a long, I have stopped giving and taking gifts. Many ones criticize this but this is my method of not letting anyone price my feelings.
