The theme of the day at Hive Learners brings up an important reflection that I stop to think about from time to time. I believe that the central point that leads me to help other people 'without expecting' anything in return, yes, with quotation marks, because there is in fact something that I expect, but it is not material or monetary goods, it is the famous karma. I like the feeling of knowing that I am doing something for someone and that at some point someone will do something for me.
Before delving into the subject, I would like to draw a parallel with Hive, or social networks where reputation prevails, as in our case. I believe that people always seek to teach something different to others, because in a universe that is still relatively unexplored there is always new knowledge to be shared. But more than that, when your reputation is at stake, it is rare to see hate being spread, as is the case with network X. I have no doubt that if there were a reputation number, some Supreme Court judge would question why profile X has a high value or why profile Y has a low value, and add the fact to coordinated attacks.
But let's get back to the main topic, before I once again get entangled in the philosophical bias that is different from the one proposed by the text.
The importance in my view of always helping people, in addition to the issue of karma that I mentioned initially, I believe comes from my intrinsic desire to teach. I like to always be learning something to teach later. I have taught theater for a few years, and I am currently finishing my master's degree in Civil Procedure Law, where my goal is to teach at college. The art of teaching is something that fascinates me. Obviously, the monetary gains of teaching at a college are attractive, but that is not the main point of the matter. After all, I have taught several theater classes without charging a cent, for the simple pleasure of passing on knowledge.
As a volunteer, I also actively participated in 2008 (unfortunately I do not have photos, because at the time smartphones were not as easy to access as they are today) in a project involving clowns who would go into hospital rooms to interact with patients, whether by talking, telling jokes, playing music, in short, distracting them from the monotonous and sometimes boring environment that is a hospital room. A little color and joy helped patients, who were often discouraged, to find a little more strength to keep fighting and get out of the situation they were in.
However, I understand those who don't like to volunteer for things. After all, the most scarce and valuable asset we have is our time, and some people believe that it should be well managed, both in terms of being spent on our own learning and monetizing it in the best possible way. But I believe that there is a way to align the two things. After all, I am here spending my time to monetize this content later, and I will spend a little more time interacting with other publications, which will not provide me - a priori - with monetization, but which will certainly create a bond, which can be short-term or long-term if it is maintained, which I believe is the most valid option in a network - again - of reputations.

O tema do dia do Hive Learners traz uma reflexão importante que de tempos em tempos eu paro para pensar sobre. Acredito que o ponto central que me leva a ajudar outras pessoas 'sem esperar' nada em troca, sim, com aspas, porque há de fato uma coisa que eu espero, mas não é bem material e nem monetário, é o famoso karma. Eu gosto da sensação de saber que estou fazendo algo por alguém e que em algum momento alguém fará algo por mim.
Antes de adentrar ao assunto, gostaria de fazer um paralelo com a Hive, ou redes sociais onde vigora reputação, como o nosso caso. Acredito que as pessoas busquem ensinar sempre algo diferente para outras, pois em um universo ainda pouco desbravado há sempre um novo conhecimento a ser compartilhado, mas mais do que isso, quando está sua reputação em jogo, é raro vermos o ódio sendo espalhado como é por exemplo o caso da rede X. Que não duvido se houvesse uma numeração de reputação, algum juiz da Suprema Corte iria questionar o porque o perfil X está com um valor alto ou porque o perfil Y está com um valor baixo, e agregar o fato a ataques coordenados.
Mas vamos voltar ao tópico principal, antes que eu novamente me enrede no viés filosófico distinto do proposto pelo texto.
A importância na minha visão para eu sempre ajudar as pessoas, além da questão do karma que eu mencionei inicialmente, acredito que venha da minha vontade intrínseca de lecionar. Eu gosto de estar sempre aprendendo algo para ensinar logo após, já deu aula de teatro por alguns anos, e atualmente estou terminando meu mestrado de Direito em Processo Civil, onde meu objetivo é lecionar nas faculdade. A arte de ensinar é algo que me fascina. Obviamente os ganhos monetários de se ensinar em uma faculdade são atraentes, mas não é ponto principal da questão, afinal eu já ministrei diversas aulas de teatro sem cobrar nenhum centavo, pelo simples prazer de passar o conhecimento a frente.
Na seara de voluntário, já também participei ativamente em 2008 (infelizmente não tenho fotos, pois na época não havia a facilidade de um smartphone como hoje), de um projeto de palhaços que iam em quartos de hospitais interagir com os enfermos, seja conversando, contando piadas, tocando alguma música, enfim, distraindo-os daquele ambiente monótono e por vezes tedioso que é um quarto de hospital. Um pouco de cor e alegria ajudava bastante os pacientes que muitas vezes estavam desanimados a encontrar um pouco mais de forças para continuar lutando e sair da situação que estavam.
Porém entendo quem não gosta de se voluntariar para as coisas, afinal o bem mais escasso e valioso que temos é o nosso tempo, e algumas pessoas acreditam que ele deve ser bem administrado, tanto do modo a ser gasto com aprendizado próprio quanto para monetiza-lo da melhor maneira possível. Mas acredito que há uma maneira de alinhar as duas coisas, afinal, estou eu aqui gastando meu tempo para monetizar posteriormente esse conteúdo, e gastarei mais um pouco de tempo para interagir com outras publicações, essas quais não me fornecerão - a priori - monetização, mas que criará certamente um laço, que pode ser de curto prazo ou longo prazo caso mantenha-se, o que acredito ser a opção mais válida em uma rede - novamente dito - de reputações.
