VICKOLY'S OVERVIEW OF HIVE LEARNERS FEATURES TOPICS

in #hive-1538502 years ago

The hive learners community features prompt has been on for about a year now and with my experience of being a part of it from the very first topic to this present day I've learnt a lot, improve in a lot ways and met awesome people in the community and today as we celebrate its first anniversary I'll be sharing my review of the last one year.

Hive learners community is a general community that welcomes basically all types of content in as much as the author follows the basic hive guidelines, but about a year ago I guess it management decided to spice things up and that lead to the introduction of the features prompt, that singular decision literally changes the community from just another community on the hive blockchain but one of the most active and engaging community you'll find on hive.

So without further ado, in this write-up I'll be sharing more or like a review of what I've experienced, learnt and much more during the course of the past one year since the features prompt started, I hope you'll enjoy the read and via this join us on board in the hive learners community.

WHAT I'VE LEARNT FROM FEATURES TOPICS

Since the beginning of the features topic till this present day, I must say I've learnt alot, from the various topics that pushes me into thorough thinking, engaging in research and even reading some mind-blowing advice from other authors has lead to me improving in many aspects like, as a person, as regarding interaction with others and becoming a better writer.

Some of the things I've learnt includes becoming more consistent no matter what, I've watch and observe the moderator of the community and almost knows the duty of each one of them, but regardless of if someone fails to do is work or isn't available to do it at the right time, they would because of the skip that duty, instead others will cover up for the person in order to maintain the trend and reputation of the community at large, the singular act as been a source of inspiration for me personally.

HOW WHAT I LEARNT IMPACTED ME

Like I said above, what I've learnt in this community via the features topics are enormous and below are some of the ways it has impacted me:

  • Becoming a better writer: Via the features topic, I can say for sure and certain that I've become a better writer, although not the best but I can see traces of improvement which are due to the fact that the features topic come up with different topics that literally put you on the edge something to brood out the best.

  • Engagement: I use to be a passive engager during my earlier days on hive with over 50 quality comments day per, but after getting a job offline that's different from when I was my own boss, this drastically reduces the rate at which I engage, but all thanks to hive learners features prompt that encourages engagement with others, I usually try to engage with at least 3 authors after pushing my entries each time.

There are many others, but I'll put and halt to it at this point.

FRIENDS I'VE MADE DOWN THE YEARS

Has an introvert, one of the hardest thing for me to do is interact with people, but being a user on hive I've come to realise that hive isn't just a place to farm reward, but along the line an avenue to make friend, although I'm not the type who talks at length or wishes to engage in lengthy conversation but over time I've interact with loads of people to the point where I can refer to them as my friends.

Basically almost everyone here is my friend and I hold each one of them in high esteem, as they teaches me, motivate me with their write-up and our interaction, and much more to mention but few, so if I'm pinning a singular person, it doesn't mean others are less appreciated than the person mentioned.

And just to show much much this set of people really mean to me and how close we are, I can say say for sure and without a doubt that I've spoken with them more frequently than I've with the few friends I've got offline.

Below are some of my friends in the hive learners community, @shopnilhasan @burlarj @sholex94 @princessbusayo @quduus1 @momogrow @moremoney28 @glorydee @shrazi @rosecane @graciousvic @nkemakonam89 @hive-world @hopestylist @actordontee @treasuree @vikar and many others which I fail to mention because I don't want to over tag people.

That's about all on my one year overview of the hive learners community features topic experience, what I've learnt and the friends I've made, I hops you enjoy the read, the write-up was inspired by the hive learners community anniversary features topic stated in Kronias and dlm post, kindly read it to get more information.

Thanks for reading through my post, have a blessed day ahead.**
