My preference.

They say "family is everything," no doubt, but they didn't end there; they went further into saying, "family is the rock on which we build our wall." Everyone walking on the face of the earth was born into a family though some persons aren't proud of the family they were birthed into, reasons best known to them.

My family wasn't the richest of all, though often as a child I would wish I was born into a very wealthy family, but then as I grew older I realized that growing up I didn't lack anything, my home was comfortable more like the definition of a comfort zone, I had clothes to wear and a beautiful roof over my head "what else was I looking for?" If you ask me "I don't think I have an answer to that".

Do you come from a large or a small family? Hmm, hmm, I think something is hanging in my throat that I need to get out before answering this question. I come from a large family; by large, I mean people related to me by blood, not friends turned family members. "Yeah!" So my dad already had a wife with children before he married my mum, "something I didn't ask of." Well, I can't complain because the deed has been done already, and I'm a living product of that marriage.

People feel growing up in a large has its consequences. Well, It doesn't, it's just like a normal family when there is an understanding between the parties involved. When such understanding is created, it boils down to the children to follow in that pattern that has been created. I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes conflicts arise, and there will be quarrels and fights, but then, after a while, there will be a settlement. Growing up, I didn't see my mum exchange abusive words with my stepmother; she was always conscious of herself not to engage in any of that sort "I don't know how she did it".

I never regretted growing up in such a home because everything I needed was provided; I didn't lack the essentials or basic things needed for my daily life. Mum has always been there, and dad I got to know a little before he passed. Dad's passing made Mum move out of the house to start a small family with her offspring. "Me and my siblings" felt like we moved from a large family to a small one.

You can say I've tasted being in a large family and a small one, but then the one I prefer the most is the "small family". I enjoyed the privacy that accompanied it, it was more peaceful in terms of the noise and more conducive.

If I had a choice, I would prefer a small family, just my husband, and kids, normally there are gonna be some extended family members coming around "no doubt" and also those who aren't related to us by blood coming around as well, I wouldn't mind that but then I still prefer my small family for the peace of mind.

Thanks for reading 🧡

Your perception is actually true. Thank God you have tested both the large and small family settings however small family is better as you said. Truly I have not tested the large family but I have seen how tough things are for others.

Yeah and I prefer the small family though the large one wasn't an issue then but the privacy in a small family is second to none.

Ok

After having some experiences, it becomes easier to decide which one we like the most. I understand what you said.

Yeah!! Thank you for understanding me better

I get you totally. And your choice is valid. I enjoy the large family which I have now. And I realize that whether small or large, what is important is that unity and love abides.

It's the love that matters most and keeps a family together. I'm happy you are enjoying your large family.

Wow. Sometimes large family can either be fun and other times can be like a thorn in one's flesh above all, having an understanding family whether small or large is the best. I also would want to have a smaller family; just me, my husband and kids.

It's just a possession of mixed feelings sometimes; sometimes you are happy with everything, and the next minute, you are not.

We have the same preference, its incredible

Growing up in a large family has it's perks and I dont see any downside to it unless the privacy part. Family is everything but I'll definitely pick a small family over a large one lol

Yeah, it does, and sometimes you'd feel like giving up on the family in front of you. But then, like they say, family is everything, and you can't just walk away from them no matter what.

Yh, very true

You are family is better, thank God there was no strive, cause you won't enjoy it at all

Yeah! It is and I'm super grateful for it
