Just like every human, "I have hobbies," Some I haven't explored or experienced, but then they are still on my list of hobbies; when asked what my hobbies are, "I'm always gonna include them," though they are yet to be experienced.
One of my favorite hobbies is "traveling" I loved traveling growing up my mum didn't travel with me all the time because of my big mouth "not physically" Whenever we came from a trip, I would tell the whole world even my enemies trying to pepper them and mum didn't like that about me "and my sister was different" I don't know why my sister would be different when we grew up in the same household.
Ever since Mum stopped traveling with me, I thought the desire for traveling was gonna drain out of me slowly, "but it didn't". Rather, it became my hobby. Anytime mum wanted to travel with my big sister, I would always frown at them "like an enemy of progress." Maybe I was, but it wasn't a severe one. Since they didn't want to travel with me, I decided to travel when I grew older; now, ask me if I have done that often: "Well, you guessed right," I haven't been doing it often, but then I can remember the last time I traveled.
The very first time I traveled far from home was two years ago "Kudos to my nation" for making youth service compulsory if not some of us still won't travel, but since it was mandatory, I had no choice but to abide by the law set by my nation and go for my service and luckily I traveled to another part of my nation that I have always wanted to.
Traveling can be stressful sometimes, if not all the time, that's one reason some people don't like traveling and don't even want to experience it. Most things we do in life are accompanied by stress, though the fun likely comes afterward. Traveling is stressful, but the after-effect is what we all look up to: the amazing sights we are gonna be seeing and the new people we are gonna meet along the way.
The culture we are gonna experience, often we've heard of those cultures, but experiencing it ourselves is a whole lot of vibe on its own. The new food you'd try is one thing I look forward to "If you call me a foodie, I will gladly accept at this point."
One thing I would want everyone to experience is "Traveling" I know people rarely travel and currently with the economic condition of my nation where transportation is on the high side, putting all these into consideration is deviating people's minds from traveling but then once in a while everyone needs that experience, leave that comfort zone and explore a new environment far away from home, where you get to see new places, meet new people, try new meals. Unwind and rewind from the world around you and explore a new world with an entirely different culture and way of life.
Traveling broadens our minds that the world is vast and doesn't start and end with our comfort zone or state of origin; it tells us there is a whole world out there that does things differently from us.
