Hello, my friends! Another Saturday and another quick peek at some of the flowers that have brought me some joy to look at! Actually... my better half and I love to get outside. If we are able, we create little "displays" around our yard. As you know, my Multiple Sclerosis doesn't let me do much. But I have a phone that takes decent photos! So there's that!! We recently got our grandkids off their game devices and made them (gosh I know... evil grandparents lol) come outside and help. I love video games just as much as they do. But it's good to get them outside... get their hands dirty, and show them what life is really about!
This is my granddaughter and better half... We had those Hastas in a different area of the yard. But they were not getting any sunlight. So we decided to transplant them to this big (green) container. We added some Geraniums of a few different colors in, and I think it came out pretty nice; what do you think?

My better half's sister suffers from several different health issues. Ranging from Fibromyalgia to Bladder Cancer... we don't get to visit her that often, as she is usually at the doctor's office getting treatments or check-ups. Combined with the current price of gas... that makes it hard to travel the hour drive to see her. But... we make exceptions for family, and we also had a bit of "spare change", so we picked up this awesome "Airplane Planter" at our favorite Amish market...
The smile it brought to her face, was more than worth the purchase, as well as the visit. She has a very nice house, with a pretty decent amount of acreage. So, as we can, we try to hook her up with some pretty flowers or bring over the fertilizers that will help the flowers she already has. This is the very mindset, to me, that makes @dswigle's Always A Flower Community so awesome. Sharing, is caring... and in sharing with others... well, you know what I mean, right?

When we relocated that Hosta in the image up there... we noticed that some of the Peonies we had... that we thought were a particular color. Actually ended up being not only a different color, but a different type. I was showing them off at The Terminal a few days ago, but let me just show you a photo I took...
I know you really can't see what I mean with this sepia filter, but we really didn't think they had survived the transplant from the previous location. So we were actually tickled to even see them budding. Let me show you the un-edited photo...
Remember I said we relocated the Hosta? This is where we grabbed it from. It was our Owl display we tried to create several years ago. I have posted about it in the past... after the grankids's parents got a trampoline, the poor owl became buried in bikes, balls, and nerf guns; darn kids anyway! But it was the only spot on our 3 acres, that had a decent amount of shade throughout the day. So we planned to start rearranging it to make a different "down-sized" decoration-thingus. But let me show you how those peonies came out; we kind of leaned them against the clematis, as the trellace helped to hold them up.
I get the vibe of a Victorian greeting card with these flowers together... "Warm Greetings from the Castle!" or something like that. Did you ever see that movie "Secret Garden"? I think I brought this up in another post. So don't want to go on about it again (Old Wes the citation cop can't be partaking in spammy content now can he!) but I could see this being a part of the inner-garden... man, I love that old movie. Oh... here is an un-edited photo!
As it's my way to share the love, and show some engagement, by highlighting others on the blockchain... I invite you to check out a post by @rossfletcher! Why not swing by and say hello! He has some very awesome content, and I am sure he would appreciate a visit! Check his post out below; I will provide a link!

Do you have flowers that you like to take photographs of? Like sharing them with others, to put a smile on everyone's faces? Well then... you are in the right place! We are very fortunate to have the ability to post in this community. One created by @dswigle! I am in no way affiliated with her community (not that it would be a bad thing mind you!) but I know she is a positive force on the blockchain. Why not look around in her community... drop a post on in! If you bring bacon, you will get brownie points! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Time to get off this laptop, and play with the grandkids!
Wes...
