I took last year off from most online activities. However I will be revisiting all of the Hive projects that I had previously been involved.
One of these projects, is the game dCity. I had made a good start in 2023 before 2024 happened so it is time to see if I can move things forward and make progress in 2025.
Currently my dCity has a negative income of negative 13 SIM. I would like to get this into the positive. There are lots of different things i can do to add to the city but first I should probably look at what I have and stabilize it.
For instance the Casino is inactive. Casinos produce the Gamer token. This is a token that I collect even though my balance is small, every now and then I earn some Swap Hive for having it staked.
I need to get it back in an active state. The Casino requires 10 workers and produces SIM income. This might be what I need to get back into a positive overall SIM income. To do this I need to hire three workers.
The Market has two types of Workers that I could purchase. One is a Hard worker that also provides income and the other is just a worker. I will need to determine how this would impact my current SIM holdings before determining which of these I should acquire.
What is dCity?
dCity is a city simulator game based on the Hive Platform. Below is a more detailed description for your reference.

Goal for 2025
I like having goals to give me motivation and some target to shot for. One of my overall goals on the Hive Platform is to increase my Hive Power on a weekly basis. I noticed that dCity rewards Hive every day for players that have over a certain amount of SIM Power. This would be a way to reach my overall goal as well as having a little fun along the way.
Currently I have 34,332 SIM Power and receive 0.00 Hive daily. I know I can probably add to my SIM Power or this next year more than I have in the past. It shows that I am receiving an 16.61% APR based on SIM price at 0.00018 Hive. This is a ry good APR compared to other projects and I might as well make sur that I take this into consideration when looking at my overall investments and diversification.
If you read this post and have any suggestions for growing my dCity, please leave them as a comment.
