Since this is a new year and I want to start out in a good direction, I am sharing my starting point balances and look to accumulate and report my progress periodically so that I can hold myself accountable .
Just by creating this post lays the foundation for help with my progress as it provides me with the benchmark of where the year started. It will help me track how far I have progressed as time passes. It will also provide motivation if I am not making very much progress (double edged sword).
I am hoping that it helps me stay consistently progressing. I sometimes stop things because I do not see the value in the actions taken or I get distracted by other activities. I think that is what happened last year.
This year, I am aiming on finding more of a balance between my online activities and real world activities.
Starting Point
As a starting point for the new year, I have the following balances of Hive and HBD:
Liquid Hive - 1.634
Staked Hive - 3453.475 of which 136.663 is delegated
Liquid HBD - 11.213
Staked HBD (Savings) - 88.087
My target is to keep increasing my Hive and HBD balances while also providing me a reward each period by doing so.
Since I am aiming to add and realize value, I have decided not just to grow my balances but to also pay myself in $USD each week that I grow my account. To start off with, I will be withdrawing $1 in seven days if I am successful in growing my account in value of at least twice that amount. This excludes the fluctuation of the underlying price.
