Hi there and welcome to my blog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz.
2 Year Anniversary For The We Are Alive Tribe
Today April 16, 2023 it is 2 years since we launched the We Are Alive Tribe and our ALIVE token, a big Happy Birthday to the whole tribe!
The precursor to our tribe was the I Am Alive Challenge which started on April 3, 2020, and in this video, I Am Alive - Day 1 - #IAmAliveChallenge - #HiveIsAlive.
Shortly after starting IAAC we also started the Luke Is Alive contest, which is now the Larry Is Alive contest, and as it all kept growing we needed our own tribe and token and therefore the community got together and funded the start of our tribe and ALIVE token, and a bit later also our miner token, ALIVEM.
We created a tipping bot, and we started to pay out daily staking rewards, and during the last year we have added 2 more tokens to ALIVE stakeholders, LOLZ and DHEDGE in addition to the BRO and PGM that we started with in the first year.
Plus we also added daily staking rewards of AWESOME tokens to ALIVEM stakeholders in the last year as well.
As the second batch of 1k ALIVEM was sold out we where able to stake over 20k BEE tokens to @aliveandsocial, and we curate tribe posts with that account, adjusted for ALIVE stake.
We also launched our ALIVE:ALIVEM Diesel Pool with 3000 BEE in rewards for 1 year, and it's still paying out over 100% APR.
So this last year has focused quite a lot on strengthening our tokenomics, and our rewards to ALIVE and ALIVEM stakeholders, plus new use case in our Diesel Pool, and also another use case in our weekly burning contest as well.
Tribe Updates
What we have coming now is adding more automation on our backend to enable better scaling of our tribe features and benefits, plus also more ebooks, the Larry Is Alive ebook is next in line, and we also have some updates coming to our tribe guide and our posting guidelines as well.
Another update is the annual 5% reduction of our ALIVE rewards pool that we have, and for Posting Rewards through Scotbot this is automatic, and is scheduled to happen in the late evening April 17, 2023.
For our Mining Rewards this is updated manually as the smart contract does not do this automatically, so when Scotbot has reduced posting rewards with 5% we will also update the mining contract and reduce that with 5% as well to keep the whole rewards pool in sync.
The new mining rewards will then be 15.032 ALIVE tokens per hour.
Anniversary Contest
To celebrate our 2 year anniversary we are making a contest, and we will also make a 2 years badge for all who takes part in the contest, below is the badge icon, and we will create a badge account and whitelist that in PeakD.
Made in Canva and Roundphoto
The 2 year anniversary badge will be given to all who takes part in the contest.
We also have 4 other prizes that will be given to 4 winners with a random prize drawing, and prizes are listed below, 1 prize per winner.
1 ALIVEM

To take part in the contest make a post in the We Are Alive Tribe and make it at least 250 words long, and in this post share your best memory from the We Are Alive Tribe from the past year, and share the link to your post in the comments below.
