It was a terrible disaster... Maybe those areas can be rebuilt, but lost lives can't be recovered... 😞
It was great to see volunteers helping out and people gathering spontaneously to help each other... Unfortunately, those in charge failed again, bad organization and a lack of help for affected people, especially after a certain time when the media didn't create pressure anymore... It happened with the Canary Islands and it happens again... 😞

You touched on an essential point for learning: motivation. If the person is not interested in acquiring new knowledge, no matter how many facilities they have, they will always find excuses or something more interesting to do. As you say, we are now privileged to have access to a practically infinite source of information and at a very cheap price.
