What is the value of the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem? If we attempt to assertain its value in terms of fiat currencies like the US Dollar, we will likely find ourselves less than inspired, and we'd also be missing the true value of this exceptional Blockchain completely. Fiat currencies are a tool of the banking cartels (and their masters) to control populations. They are all based on debt, and are created out of thin air (with interest charged, of course) by entities such as the insidious Federal Reserve, that own and control them entirely.
Comparing and evaluating Hive and its value in terms of fiat currencies does an immense disservice to Hive, as it is a completely different animal. Hive and its currencies, which are not based on debt, are owned by you and me, the people of the Hive community. We don't need a bank or any middleman to send tokens, no matter which ones they are, to anyone else on the Blockchain. It's also fast and free for us to do so. No government or bank can come close to that.
Hive is a value-generating machine, that we the community create, develop, run, use, govern, and own. There are so many layers of value within the Ecosystem that from my perspective Hive has far more intrinsic value than any fiat currency. I see what Hive is, what it represents, and what its mind-blowing potential is, and I have zero desire to remove any value from this Blockchain until I am able to live off my account's dust. I'm far more likely in the short term to transfer assets into Hive, as it would be an excellent long-term investment.
The more people that are a part of this value-rich Blockchain, the more and more likely that we will be able to use Hive to send and receive payments, in various tokens. I'm quite excited by this possibility! Imagine being able to pay for anything that we need with Hive assets, without having to convert it first! Focused group effort on local levels can make this happen. It's already happening in certain places, like Sucre, Venezuela!
In truth we the people of Hive are the true value on this Blockchain. With Hive we are able to monetize our inherent and intrinsic human value, and then use it to greatly benefit both ourselves, and others anywhere in the world. That sounds bloody brilliant to me! Do you grok why I'm so passionate and all in here on Hive?
Today in the jungle, the elegant and sensual dance of sun and rain continued, with both bright, warm sun, and intense, torrential rain making their alternating appearance throughout the day. Early morning to about 4PM (when I finished) was devoted exclusively to Hive catch-up and tasks. It's just my own account and my comment moderation, but you'd be astonished at how long it often takes me to fully catch up from the night before, and I'm not slow!
When I left the Flow House at 4PM to go work on the land, I felt drawn to work in my nursery today. I spent a good while recovering the soil from pots where the plants had died, as well as weeding. It felt good to clean and organize things a bit more. It's coming along pretty well. There's still a lot to do, but I've been getting through the needed tasks quite quickly, especially when Shakira helps.
When I finished working in my nursery, I strained out a round of kefir in the Landing, to make my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, and then made myself some food, before returning to the Flow House to do another quick Hive catch-up, and then write this post. So Hive and plant work are mostly what I did today!
It's now just past 10PM, and I have one more important Hive task to do before bed, so I'll take my leave now to go get that done! I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
