I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my time here on Hive I've come to realize the power and benefit of goals and my commitment and dedication to workng toward their realization. I am usually quite consistent in what I do on Hive, or in my life, which is something that I very much appreciate about myself.
Sometimes, however, things don't go according to plan, and I must adapt and flow with everything the best I am able. In my Sunday post, which I stayed up until just after 3:30AM to write, that I had put off my Hive catch-up and tasks until much later, so that I could spend some beautiful and enjoyable time with Marco's two wonderful girls, Aloha and Mahina, and Shakira. While I'm super happy and grateful to have done so, it definitely made my Hive tasks a bit more challenging.
The whole next day, because I stayed up so late getting everything on Hive done, I felt very tired, exhausted, and just plain slow, so I wasn't able to get all my Hive tasks done last night, like writing this post, as I just had to sleep. I woke up this morning and began my Hive tasks just before 4AM, and as I writ this it's just about 5:15AM.
So this is the very first Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry that I'm writing the next morning. I'm tenacious and determined about my commitment and dedication to Hive and what I do here, but there are those rare times when I'm just not able to do what I need to do within the time frame I need to do it. I needed to take care of myself, so I put Hive on hold and went to sleep.
Usually missing my daily goals here would frustrate me, but one wonderful thing about Hive that I've so deeply come to appreciate is that it is always here waiting for us when we return. Even if we miss our daily or weekly goals, or if we aren't able to complete our daily tasks, we can always pick up where we left off and begin again. That is a wonderful thing.
Hive provides ever-new opportunities, every single day, to succeed, learn, grow, and connect. The more consistent we are the better, but even if we're not for a time, it's OK. We can always begin again when we feel able.
Balance, integration, and wholeness are exceedingly important in everything, and I'm still in the process of grounding them fully in my own life, and how I do Hive. Hive, like life, is not a race, and it's OK to go at our own pace, and the pace will vary day to day, week to week, and month to month. Hive will still be here, and we'll still be able to begin again. That gives me a feeling of relaxation and ease.
Yesterday, being Monday, I had two community meetings to attend (the Leadership Council and the Logistics meetings), so I did my best to catch up on Hive before and after them both, though with not getting enough sleep the night before, I was not very efficient or quick at it. Because of this most of it had to wait until later in the evening. Thankfully I was able to at least catch up, but not get two important tasks done before I was too exhausted to continue.
The only land work that I was able to get done was to help Ano's mother, Braja, with a few tasks at her house. Days like this hit home clearly just how important good sleep is.
It's now just about 5:45AM, and the sun is coming up. I'm still sitting in bed, with Azul, a wonderful kitty who stays with me up at the Flow House most nights, sitting in my lap. I think it's time to end this post for now, so that I can do my morning Hive rounds, and maybe even get a little more sleep before I begin my day. I deeply appreciate you all! Until...tonight! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
