I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
One of the most startling aspects of Hive for those coming from other blockchains is the dazzling array of tokens that exist in Hive's second layer. Last I checked, there were over 600 such layer-2 tokens, all with different characteristics, abilities, uses, and wildly different values when compared to HIVE or to each other. Yes, there are tokens that are defunct, and are no longer active or used, as well as a goodly number of tokens that seem to have little to no apparent value or use case. Among the dross, however, there are also quite a good diversity of very useful and valuable tokens, not old and new.
After two years of observing, collecting, and using all manner of tokens in all manner of ways on Hive, I've definitely come to have a perspective and opinion on what constitutes a truly interesting, useful and valuable token. Those that are regular readers of my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Updates know that some of the most interesting tokens to me are income tokens, which can be broken down into dividend-paying and miner tokens, that provide a regular income of other useful and valuable tokens over time, when held and/or staked. The most interesting tokens in this category to me are those that do multiple useful things, or fill multiple roles, such as being an income token, one that provides voting rewards for both voter and votee, one that can be delegated for still more useful rewards, as well being a tipping token, such as our amazing ALIVE. I really adore multi-use tokens!
Other tokens have more limited use, but are still valuable, such as those that can be delegated to receive daily or weekly rewards in the same or other useful tokens, and/or those that can be added to diesel/liquidity pools to provide daily payments in an assortment of tokens. There are some tokens that I only use for one thing, such as tipping, delegating, or to add to liquidity pools. The basic idea being to make maximum use of the token assets that I have available to leverage the greatest possible growth over time.
I've discovered quite a few cool tokens by receiving them as diesel/liquidity pool rewards, such as DRIP, PSX, or ZING, which are either income tokens, or they can be added to still other liquidity pools for yet more rewards. When a new token that I don't know appears in my wallet, I look into any and all of its possible benefits and uses, either by staking, delegating, or adding it to liquidity pools, for MAU, or Maximum Asset Utilization, with the ultimate goal of providing MMB, or Maximum Mutual Benefit.
On this subject of amazing tokens, what perhaps little-known tokens do you find to be the most interesting, useful, and valuable tokens, and why?
I hear about new tokens all the time, and if they keep popping up in posts and conversations, then I'll eventually explore them more deeply. I prefer to learn about new cool tokens earlier rather than later, so any that come to your mind as you're reading this, I'd super appreciate you mentioning them in a comment.
Given that I am active on three sovereignty-driven blockchains (Bastyon, Hive, and Qortal), and I want to see as much interconnection, interoperability, collaboration, and cooperation between them as possible, I'd like to create SWAP counterparts of Bastyon's PKOIN and Qortal's QORT on Hive Engine, so SWAP.PKOIN and SWAP.QORT, at some point. I don't have the resources or knowledge to accomplish this yet, but it's on my list of long-term Hive goals. Cross-Blockchain Interoperability (CBI) is a very good thing indeed, especially between Allied Blockchain Nations (ABN)!
I've been slowly trimming down the number of Hive tasks that I consider truly essential, to be able to give myself more time for land work, and time to focus on myself a bit more for regular integral practices, healing my broken heart, and grounding and nurturing my passions and purpose in my everyday life. Along those lines, I was actually able to leave the Flow House yesterday, Tuesday, before 2:30PM, which is quite a bit earlier than usual. I focused on taking photos for the next version of this post first, then I got my machete and collected two whweelbarrows full of Melochia leaves and cane grass for the cow-milking food. Once I had that done, I identified trees in photos that I had taken and sent to Braja, for a grant that GaiaYoga Gardens had been awarded. With that short task done, I did some weeding in and around my Coleus beds on the throughway between Tutu's and Kana's house/the fenced garden/the nurseries. After I finished that, Ano showed me more plants in his nursery for me to propagate for paid work.
When work was done for the day, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, got food for my kitty friend, then I made my way back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications, which I was able go complete just before 10:45PM. I did a short round of token management after that, then I went to bed around 11:30PM. I slept well, waking up around 6AM, doing another round of token management, then some more catching up on my notifications, before getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
The time is now getting close to 2PM, so it's a great time to end this post, so that I can get to my essential Hive tasks, and then land work in the later afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
