I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
So the time has come to assess, reflect, extrapolate, and make my new Hive and Life Goals for 2025. I don't know why I bit off such a huge bite right now, as I don't have a huge amount of time to do it, but something in me felt that it was important now. So here we go!
Assessing my previous ones, and putting together new Hive goals, was the easiest, so I did that first. It just took me a little time to do some digital archeology to find and then crunch the numbers. From January 1st to now, I've gained 2,541.764 HP, 164.438 HBD in Savings, 1.864 Reputation, and I've used them as guidelines in coming up with my new goals for the year.
2024 Hive Goals Assessement
10,000 HP
While I grew my Hive Power quite a lot this year, I'm sadly not going to each my year-end goal. At this moment I'm at 8,523.7 HP, so I overshot this goal by quite a lot, and as such this goal is a fail.
500 HBD in Savings
This goal too was an overshoot, not quite as big as with HP, but still pretty far off. Today I have 395.324 HBD in Savings, so a good amount still to go, so this goal is also a fail.
70 Reputation.
This is the only one of my year-end Hive Goals that I reached, and I didn't just achieve it, I smashed it, with a 70.69 Reputation as of today. I'm very grateful that I nailed at least one of my yearly goals.
New 2025 Hive Goals
13,000 HP
600 HBD in Savings
72 Reputation
Assessing and choosing a new set of Life Goals for the New Year is a fair bit more challenging, but I dove in and did my best. I definitely chose too many goals for 2024, so as I move into 2025, I intend to keep them far fewer, and more focused. Too many goals scatters energy that could be put to far better use if focused properly. I intend to do much better this time around.
2024 Life Goals Assessment
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
This is still a work in progress, but I have made major advancements, and I'm far more solid in who I am in life. I still need to change my perspective on myself, however. This goal is partially successful.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
This one also is still a work in progress, and while I've opened the door to a more whole, fulfilling life, I have much work left to do here. This goal is also partially successful.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
Aside from a few scattered moments, this goal has been a fail, unfortunately. Finding or making time for practices like this has mostly not happened at all, which still frustrates me immensely.
4.) Dance regularly again.
While my dancing has not been regular, I have done so several times this year, either alone, or more usually at the drum circles at Kehena and the Lawn. This one is another partial success.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
While this has happened at various points through the year, this goal is only partially successful. With entheogens, it's important to take time to integrate the experiences afterward by taking a pause of around a week. Unfortunately, due to many very challenging experiences this year, I used them, specifically ganja and tobacco, as a way to stay in my own world, and numb out a bit. The tool is excellent, but it must be used correctly.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
Very thankfully I succeeded in this goal beautifully well. While there have been gaps, especially during the summer, I've been giving sessions quite regularly for a good chunk of the year.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
Sadly, aside from a few times here and there, this goal is a fail. Like doing regular integral practices, finding or making the time required for this has not happened.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
While I had good progress and momentum here, this one mostly fell by the wayside, which is also very frustrating for me, because working with plants and gardens is one of the things that I love to do most. It's just very, very challenging here, which is ironic living in Hawai'i. This goal is a fail.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
This is mostly a fail. I experience sweet connections here and there, occasionally, both here at GaiaYoga, and in the larger Lower Puna community, but that is not present in any notable way in the majority of my experience, sadly.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
This goal is also a fail. I've mostly accepted that this may indeed not be a part of my human experience any longer, so I've focused my energies and attention elsewhere.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
This is a complete fail. I made zero progress at all. Again, it's finding or making the time.
New 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
So there you have it, my new set of Hive and Life Goals for 2025! It's possible that I may edit them a tiny bit, but I think that these are good to go!
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing my Hive tasks, around 1:30PM, putting my focus first on milking Daisy, our cow 🐮, which thankfully went pretty smoothly. After milking, I took a short break up at the Flow House, then I went to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a little while, which I thoroughly enjoyed. When I had my fill of sunlight, I took a nice round of photos for these posts, then I helped Braja in her place with a few small tasks. When I had that done, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, as my last task of the day. Once that was done, I stopped by the Landing to pick up my jar of superfood fire coffee from the fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House, to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by a little after 10PM, and after some token management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up around 7:30AM, still feeling like I needed more sleep, doing a round of token management, writing and publishing My 135th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Achieved, 8,500 HP Surpassed, and 8,600 HP This Week!, then going to make my superfood fire coffee. I decided to write this post before milking Daisy, so that's what I'll be doing as soon as I publish it, and finish my few other important Hive tasks. It's now just after 12:30PM, so a great time to end this post, to get into my busy jungle day! I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
