Let's dive into it...

Social networks have become an integral part of out life and are constantly evolving and improving, to the point that our work and life are being blurred between with these networks increasingly becoming a way to authenticate our lives.

However the influence of social media on mental health is of immense importance, and the effects are only now being studied for the immense impact they have, constant usage of these tools increases the chance of being in depression and a feeling of emptiness and inadequacy.

A major example of this is the trends culture that forces people to adapt to that behaviour which is trending,without realizing whether the said behaviour would result in positive or negative behavior changes in a said person's life. Constant need for attention increases chance of a person or individual developing altered personas or becoming and displaying self centered attitudes such as narcissism.

A second example is the comparison culture that has also evolved on the said networks and has deeply impacted individuals to lead a certain kind of "perfect life", which is not possible in real life.

Cyberbullying is the third example of effect social network has on mental health. Thus particular form can also have impact on physical health, as many suffering from cyber bullying have also tried to self harm themselves or even commit suicide.
