Frost. The way to the office

in #hive-155530last year

Hello my friends.

I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.

Wednesday is a day for walking.

News channels in our city have been talking about abnormal frosts for several days now.
Forecasters started warning about the approach of the Arctic cold front 2 weeks ago, but we used to not believe them, so yesterday morning I was a little surprised when I looked at the thermometer. I saw the mark of -31 degrees, although it was only -12 in the evening.
The forecast showed that the frost would gain strength. This morning the thermometer showed -35 degrees. All day long, people have been sharing the readings of their thermometers. Residents of the northern regions of our region showed photos of thermometers with readings below -40 degrees.
It is also bad that the body has not adapted to such a sharp decrease in temperature. I tried to take an hour-long walk yesterday, but after 10 minutes I just left the street to take shelter from the frost in the building.
Today I just want to show my morning "walk" by car from my house to the office.

Clouds of steam are visible ahead. I must say that this afternoon I saw a similar picture in many places. Sometimes steam came straight from the manholes in the middle of the highway. At one of the intersections, such a release of hot steam occurs every year. And I want to say that in the summer, utility workers repair something there, but in winter, history repeats itself.

I drive through this busy intersection every morning and every evening. This is a very bad intersection, especially in the evening. After work, I sometimes spend more than 10 minutes on his journey. But in the morning I go to work especially early so as not to stand in traffic jams.

Where is this young father taking his child on this sled in such a cold? Maybe to kindergarten. But I remember how my parents also took me on a sledge to kindergarten in such frosts. It was very uncomfortable. I still remember this state.

I'm on the spot. I'm going up to the office on my floor. All the buildings look icy. This happens when frost comes very sharply and the moisture that has settled on the walls of houses freezes.
I did take a short walk in the afternoon. It was a walk to a small cafe and also to a grocery store.

Friends, and if I still take a walk in this place another time, should I show it or not? The place is really interesting.

Oh, it's kinda cold there huh? How I wish to experience playing on the snow. Well, here in the Philippines we don't have such. I just love looking at it though it's only in the picture. Thanks for sharing this morning walk you have there. God bless.

Absolutely frigid cold not sure if I could ever manage this freezing weather, it looks mystically beautiful on one hand yet warning how dangerous this could become to humans.

Take care, keep layered up and thanks for sharing these exceptionally cold conditions you are living through currently.
