May Day walk in the village of Arkhangelskoe (15pics)

This is a post to go with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay.
Greetings, friends!

Today I want to tell you about my imperfect walk. The unusual thing is that I was not walking in the vicinity of my locality. It was the first of May, a holiday in Russia. This is a Soviet holiday, which is often called the "holiday of liberated labor". The USSR died, and the holiday about some kind of ghostly liberation remained. And on such a day I was walking in the park where the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin once walked. Of course, many famous nobles, counts, and princes walked there, but it was interesting for me to represent only Pushkin. The village of Arkhangelsk in the Moscow region.

This is a very interesting place. I will try to tell you more about it, but today I want to show the sidewalks and roads I walked on. I like to photograph the road. Many different roads: landscaped paved and stone, pedestrian and automobile, sidewalks and just country roads and paths. Especially when you can look into the distance and think - what is there?

On the map of the park it was said that this was the central road during the early 20th century. There is a palace behind me. But at present it is not the main street at all. The central entrance to the park is made in another place.

We took a walk in the park for a couple of hours, it started to rain a little and we decided that it was time to head towards the car. But we looked at the map and realized that we could go for a walk further and go to the river. That's exactly what we did.

Fine. Well-equipped pedestrian paths, it is very pleasant to walk along them. In my city, you can only dream of such sidewalks. I walked and my soul sang. Beauty around, spring.

We came to the bank of the Moskva River. Along the shore there is an equipped sidewalk made of decking. Duck arranged mating games, drakes fought among themselves for the attention of their girlfriends. A little rain was upsetting, but it was very shallow and did not go all the time..

A cheerful company of young guys and girls. I don't know them. But I was very pleased to photograph them.

All good things come to an end anyway. So our walk has come to an end. The day passed quickly. I had to go to the airport and return home. 4 days of walking around Moscow flew by quickly. The daughter said - Dad, you have gained enough material over these days that you will have enough to write posts for a month.
She's right. There is a lot of material, but you need to be able to show it well. This is already more difficult than just photographing interesting things.

This park is protected by the state.

Отличное место для прогулки. Чисто, красиво, аккуратно.

Кстати, сейчас этот парково-музейный комплекс принадлежит военным. Там у них санаторий. и "реставрация" дворцов делается через их конторы... но это говорят вечная реставрация.
