I am pleased to be with you all again this week showing you a new Wednesday Walk.
At this moment I just arrived home a little tired, but very happy at the same time, today's walk was one of the most atypical, but perhaps the most beautiful that I will share with all of you, so join me to see this beautiful tour.
This beautiful Wednesday, July 6, 2022, started off a bit rainy. After getting up I took my things and left with my wife to the Maternity Hospital in my city, while I was on my way there a great anxiety and nerves invaded me, because my wife was already in her 40th week of gestation and there was a high probability that my wife would be admitted for her delivery.

Upon arrival we followed the routine protocol, she checked in and waited her turn. After a short while she was called to the doctor's office, while I waited outside the medical center, since men are not allowed to enter the maternity area. The wait was getting longer and longer. Two hours after entering, my wife called me to tell me that I had to leave quickly to buy some medical supplies, since the doctors would be performing the cesarean section today.
At that moment my heart was racing and following the instructions given to me via WHATSAPP I went downtown in search of the following medical supplies: 1 laparotomy kit II, 2 rolls of 2 inch adhesive, 1 nylon suture 2.0, 1 ampoule of Dipyrone, 10 pairs of gloves numbers 7 and 6.5.
As there was no time to lose I quickly took an old bus from the 80's heading to the center of the city, with the purpose of getting there and looking for stores selling medical supplies. When I arrived downtown I got off at Vargas Avenue.
I started a straight line from the south side to the north end. I knew that in that avenue there were commercial establishments dedicated to the sale of medical supplies but I did not know the exact address. As I walked along, I enjoyed the quiet scenery despite being in the heart of the city.
Every block I walked, I was asking if anyone knew of a place where they sold these materials. I walked maybe 10 blocks until a man gave me the exact address. I walked about 2 more blocks and when I got to the traffic circle on Vargas Avenue I found the commercial establishment.

When I arrived at the store I was attended by a young lady who gave me excellent service, gave me the prices of everything I needed and billed me for everything.
In total for everything I paid 35$ Dollars about 77 Hive according to the current rate according to Binance. When I left there I had to go back to the maternity ward I was against the clock, so I called my brother-in-law to come by and pick me up.
My brother-in-law passed by looking for me and on the way I told him part of that long walk, as we were on our way to the maternity ward I also told him all the details of the delivery.
When we got back to the maternity ward my wife was admitted to the operating room. She looked very happy and so did I, it was a matter of hours before we could see our baby. After 2 hours she came out of the operating room, it was at that moment when I had my son Daniel ❤️ in front of me for the first time.

This was the best moment of my day, being able to see and feel my son was an indescribable emotion that only those of us who have the joy of being parents can understand.
At that moment I cried with emotion, I felt a great satisfaction that did not fit in my heart. It was a perfect moment, beautiful and full of blessings.
This was the end of my walk on Wednesday. I don't want to say goodbye without introducing my son Daniel Crespo Montero to the whole Hive Blog Community.
