Hello Wednesday walkers! Today I am sharing with us a very pleasant green walk in Stara Planina near the Dryanovsky Monastery, where it is a tradition for me and @fog043 to go at this time of the year. And because it is quite hot during the day, the option to cool off is bathing in the largest pool that was formed by the Dryanovska river.
We took the familiar route that passes through the Bridge of Lovers and past the Dryanovsky Monastery. The path goes through the forest along the river and the best thing was that we were walking under a thick shade.

In this part of the river it seemed dry, but when we got to Sini Vir we saw that it was quite full of water and there were people cooling off in it. They call it Sini Vir waterfall, but it seems to me that it is a bit exaggerated.. the water pours too low into the stream which has formed like a beautiful lake.
We decided to take a more extreme path and get to the rocks on the other side of the pool where they dived into the water.
We went up a steep path on a wooden ladder and it was difficult for me because I had the stupidity to wear sandals and my feet slipped and I had a hard time keeping my balance. But albeit slowly, I passed 😊
The pond is surrounded by picturesque sheer cliffs, and small caves are formed in its lower part in places. There we rested in the shade, and some took a nap.
I think we deservedly poured each other a cold beer.
We rested in the coolness and headed back.
