Hello everyone! I want to share with you some pictures that I took during my walk around Lavalle square and in this way show you some things or details that surround this square located in the neighborhood of San Nicolas in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires.
This square has one of the best locations in the city as it is close to the popular corrientes avenue and close to 9 de Julio avenue and it is surrounded by impressive architectural figures such as the court building, the colon theater and the presidente roca school.
Hola a todos! Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías que tomé durante mi paseo por la plaza Lavalle y de esta forma mostrarles algunas cosas o detalle que rodean está plaza ubicada en el barrio de San Nicolás de la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Ésta plaza tiene una de las mejores ubicaciones dentro de la ciudad ya que está cerca de la popular avenida corrientes y cerca de la avenida 9 de Julio y está rodeada por figuras arquitectónicas impresionantes como lo es edificio de los tribunales, el teatro colon y la escuela presidente roca.
In this square was inaugurated what is called a toda orquesta II and it is a space with more than 30 lecterns that pay homage to artists and it has been there since 2008 being reopened in 2013 again but nevertheless it was left in a state of abandonment.
In this place a tribute was made to the famous Argentinean Carlos Gardel as well as to the person responsible for the work, Carlos Gallardo who was a plastic artist and stage designer who died in a traffic accident.
In Buenos Aires and in the federal capital this is very common, to find works in a state of deterioration or perhaps forgotten in the time in spite of being very significant as it is the case of the already mentioned.
En esta plaza se inauguró lo que se llama a toda orquesta II y se trata de un espacio con más de 30 atriles que hacen homenaje a artistas y se encuentra desde el año 2008 siendo reinaugurado en el 2013 nuevamente pero sin embargo quedó en estado de abandono.
En este lugar se hizo un homenaje al famoso argentino Carlos Gardel así como también a la persona responsable de la obra, Carlos Gallardo quien fue un artista plástico y escenógrafo que murió en un accidente de tránsito.
En Buenos Aires y en la capital federal esto es muy habitual, encontrar obras en estado de deterioro o tal vez olvidadas en el tiempo a pesar de ser muy significativas como es el caso de lo ya mencionado.
Here we have the presidente roca school as seen from this square and shown from a few different angles including some close-ups. This school is literally next to the Colon Theater and another important structure that accompanies the plaza with its impressive architecture.
For just being a school this kind of buildings are important in the country especially the greek style columns and the pointed surfaces but we will not talk about details of this because we will do it in a post dedicated to this work.
Acá tenemos la escuela presidente roca vista desde ésta plaza y mostrada desde algunos algunos diferentes entre ellos algunos primeros planos. Ésta escuela se encuentra literalmente al lado del teatro colon y en otra estructura importante que acompaña la plaza con su impresionante arquitectura.
Para simplemente ser una escuela este tipo de edificaciones son importantes en el país sobretodo las columnas de estilo griego y las superficies punteagudas pero no hablaremos de detalles de esto pues lo haremos en un post dedicado a esta obra.
Here I show you other details of the square such as other monuments in this case a structure located in the place with sculptures that refer to this place, seen from three different angles as well as a building that is known as Massué viewpoint that today is used as an office.
Another work of excellent architecture that has been evolving or changing through the years and has been there for more than a century.
So we could say that this square is surrounded by buildings of relevant importance both structurally and historically. That is why it is one of the most important squares in the city and on this occasion I wanted to share it with you since I was passing through this place.
Acá les muestro otros detalles de la plaza como lo son otros monumentos en este caso una estructura emplazada en el lugar con esculturas que hacen referencia a este lugar, visto desde tres ángulos diferentes así como también un edificio que se conoce como mirador Massué que hoy en día tienen usos de oficina.
Otra obra de excelente arquitectura que fue evolucionando o cambiando a través de los años y que ha estado allí hace más de un siglo.
Entonces podríamos decir que está plaza se encuentra rodeada por edificios de relevante importancia tanto estructuralmente como históricamente. Por ello es una de la plazas más importantes de la ciudad y en esta ocasión quise compartirla con ustedes ya que estaba de paso por este lugar.
