Hello Hivers in the Wednesday Walk community, a big hug from Vietnam. Today I am back with another post in this great community. Recently during my discovery trip to the remote Tu Mo Rong district, I had the opportunity to walk around to discover the beauty of a beautiful village Ngoc Leng, which I would like to share with you in this post. Let's walk around this small village with me and discover its beauty.
Where is it?
First let me introduce the location of this beautiful village. Ngoc Leng is a small village of the Xo Dang ethnic minority, located in Tu Mo Rong district. Tu Mo Rong is a remote mountainous district of Kon Tum province, where everything still retains its unspoiled beauty. This is still an undeveloped tourist destination and is very little known by tourists possibly because of its remote location. I was fortunate to know and have the opportunity to set foot here during my trip to discover new lands. To get there, I took provincial road 672, then left my car on the main road and walked into the village.
To enter the village, I had to walk through a rice field because the village is located at the foot of the mountain and surrounded by rice fields. At the time I went there, the afternoon sun shining on the rice fields created a poetic beauty. The stream flowing around the rice fields makes the village even more beautiful. In the distance, the small houses hidden behind the trees next to the smoke looked magical.
Like many other villages of the Xo Dang ethnic minority, Ngoc Leng village has a low population and is located in a remote location. Small houses are made mainly of wood and roofed with corrugated iron. Villagers live together at the foot of the mountain. They make a living by working in the rice fields in the valley next to the village and going into the forest. Their lives are in harmony with the surrounding nature. They live a simple and happy life and don't care about the outside world, that's how I felt walking deep into the village.
There didn't seem to be many strangers entering the village so the villagers were quite shy to approach me. I wasn't able to get close enough to take a portrait of them, but could only photograph them from a distance. It was a very peaceful feeling when walking around the village. The children were playing on the village road in the afternoon. Some villagers were returning to the village from somewhere on custom motorcycles after a day's work. The sound in the village was already alive. The laughter of the children playing football, the calls to each other, the sounds of the villagers' labor blended together to create a charming symphony.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post today. I hope you had an enjoyable time walking with me with many new discoveries. Have a nice day and I look forward to reading about your walk.
