In today's #WednesdayWalk, I wanted to share with you some photos of the beautiful fall colors of the leaves on the trees in my neighborhood, which I walk through on my way to work.
Summer is my favorite season.
Then it's not cold and there's no rain and you can spend the whole day in shorts and slippers.
But the colors in summer are not as beautiful as the colors in autumn.
When I walk around my neighborhood in the summer, I can't see the different shades in the color of the leaves. On all sides, you can see only green (let's face it, when everything is green, it's beautiful, but...).
In autumn, while the leaves on some branches of the tree were still green in color, on others they turned completely yellow, and on some branches, the leaves even fell...
I was listening to the weather forecast this morning. After a clear morning and a pleasant autumnal 14°C, it is expected to cool down, with rain and a drop in temperature.
That forecast determined the wardrobe I would wear. And reminded me to take pictures of the tops of the bushes, until it rains, while the leaves are dry and not blinded by water.
Only on one tree with very yellow leaves (which look ready to fall to me) did I notice a gust of light wind.
So won't this kind of breeze bring us a change of weather and a cold winter season?
I spent the whole day in the office.
I didn't have the opportunity to be outside and feel the daily temperature drop instead of rising.
The wind I recorded from the window is the wind of change (I won't post the chilling howling sound).
It is that wind that will blow away the warm, dry autumn and that will draw cold winter clouds into our sky.
Where the sun was waiting for me yesterday after leaving the office, now there are dark, gloomy clouds.
The temperature has dropped close to zero, a strong, cold wind is blowing, and instead of thinking about continuing my walk this evening, I have hot tea and a blanket in my mind, which I will use to warm up after returning home.
I look at this morning's pictures and wonder if it is possible for the seasons to change in a few hours, but I remember, November is coming to an end. Instead of this rain and cold wind, we could get snow, which has already largely whitened the mountain peaks in Serbia.
It is very likely that some of the next Wednesday walks will have the sound of crunching snow instead of the rustle of fallen leaves underfoot, but more on that another week.
Today, it is important for me to withstand the change of seasons and to warm up a little for the arrival of the cold winter.
I don't envy you who are walking tonight in this weather, I also had a nice walk this morning, enjoying the beautiful colors of autumn.
