In recent weeks, there has been a lot of walking in my country

in #hive-1555302 days ago

Not only on Wednesdays, but every other day.

There are walks on weekends, in the mornings, in the evenings, young people, old people, teachers, professors, students and their parents.
And students walk the most.
Our youth are walking, those who lit the fire of hope for liberation from the darkness and that spark in our hearts that pushes us all forward together, for a better tomorrow.
Students walk, in protest marches, they pass through our cities and villages, they walk along narrow and wide roads, and in every corner of our country they pass, a sleeping people, their parents, grandparents and they breathe in the spirit of freedom and hope...

These student walks are not like ours in #WednesdayWalk, that they only last one day a week...
These are walks in which not only the steps are counted, but the kilometers traveled are counted.
From Belgrade to Novi Sad. From Kragujevac to Belgrade. And then all together from Novi Sad to Belgrade, then to Kragujevac. From Čačak, Novi Pazar, Niš, to Kragujevac. Each route of the protest marches is even longer than 100 km.
And only this march that follows in 10 days, when a student protest march is planned that will last for days, with the slogan "Everyone in Niš".
Students from all parts of our country will go to Niš on foot, all from the south, as well as those from the north, who will cover more than 250 km...
And me, what can I brag about this Wednesday?

As a veteran of similar demonstrations and protests in the past, I don't go on these long walks, I can only drive to the city where the ultimate goal of the student march and gathering is and provide support there with my presence.
One such city was Novi Sad.

And in what way can I still express my protest today? Walking around my city with students and my neighbors.
At the agreed time, we all went out to the main street in our neighborhood and blocked it
is.
"Ustanička has risen".
The walk was not long, we reached the meeting place quickly. Gathered at the agreed place, with the shout "Pump", we headed towards the big intersection where the blockade will be carried out.

Several hundred people (and probably more than a thousand) paid their respects to the victims in Novi Sad with a fifteen-minute silence. After 15 minutes of silence, which speaks more than a thousand words, there was a deafening noise, which lasted another 15 minutes.

After the noise, according to the prearranged schedule, the blockade ended and all of us who protested went home.

From that walk, I was left with a strong emotion of community with my neighbors and participating in the protests again, as well as several pictures from the blockades and the walk that I am sharing with you now.

Tomorrow is another walk, at the weekend again, and next week another one... Until something breaks and the regime changes.
